The hard way to your favorite job
Julia Minakovskaya (nee Reshetnikova) was born in Tula in 1986. Mom worked as a veterinarian, father was engaged in his own business for the production and sale of furniture. Since childhood, the girl was taught to art, so she graduated from the local college named after Dragomyzhsky, where she perfectly mastered the game of piano and musical notation.
However, the girl herself dreamed of a career as a dramatic actress, and for this purpose after leaving school she went to Moscow, where she made an attempt to enter the famous Shchukin school. Julia Minakovskaya failed her first attempt, but did not give up and decided to pass exams at the Moscow Institute of Culture and Arts.
She successfully passed the competitive selection and began to study in the workshop of N. Polyakov, simultaneously gaining knowledge in the Vakhtangov Theater, where she took private acting lessons.
On large screens
Already in 2007, the young actress Yulia Minakovskaya, whose photo has not yet been flashed on the pages of glossy magazines, made her debut in her first full-length feature film, with the film director Andrei Konchalovsky acting as the director. Together with the first persons of domestic cinema - Alexander Domogarov, the sisters Arntgolts and Irina Rozanova - she played in the film "Gloss", where she acted as secretary.
Later, Julia focused on working in the theater, but continued to act in films and on television from time to time. From 2007 to 2014, she played small but vivid roles in the television series Hot Ice, Univer, Kiss the Bride, and Missing People.
In 2016, viewers could watch the acting skills of Yulia Minakovskaya as part of the comedy series “Marry Pushkin”, in which Alexandra Bortich played the main role . Also, the actress tried her hand at the melodrama genre, playing in the film by Sergei Borchukov, "Heart failure."
Theatrical prima
After graduating, Julia Minakovskaya focused on working in the theater, but the freedom-loving girl did not seek to get a permanent place in any particular troupe. She played a lot in productions of the Taganka Theater, the Meyerhold Center, the Vysotsky Center and other famous creative groups.
In 2013, the girl became the laureate of the theater festival "Left Bank", having received the main prize in the nomination "Best Actress". The jury thus praised her work in the play “Dandelion Wine”, where Julia Minakovskaya masterfully conveyed the inner world of the main character.
Recently, Julia decided to settle down and stopped wandering around the capital, becoming a permanent member of the Electrotheatra troupe, directed by Boris Yukhananov.
Nevertheless, the actress continues to participate in projects that are of interest to her. Among them is the unusual play "Touch the Sun", staged specifically for the visually impaired. Here, viewers perceive what is happening on stage exclusively through hearing and touch - ordinary viewers are blindfolded.
Personal life
Julia lives in a happy marriage. Together with her husband Alexei Minakovsky, she is raising a little daughter, Vasilisa, who was released in 2016.
In addition to active work on the stage of the theater, Julia clearly shows herself as a presenter on television. On the channel "Friday" she runs the program "General cleaning", which is very popular among the audience.
