Armenian pasta: recipe with photo

Cooking

Fried pasta
  • Based on the Armenian-style pasta recipe, we start by heating the butter in a deep frying pan. The oil should be hot, but should not boil.
  • So, pour the whole packet of pasta into the hot oil, mix.
  • Fry our pasta in Armenian for 10-15 minutes on moderate heat, continuously stirring them with a spatula. Macaroni should acquire a beautiful, uniform, golden brown color.
  • Then, without removing the pan from the stove, fill our pasta with hot water. Water should only cover the product a little. At this stage, the dish is better to salt.
  • Next, you need to cover the dishes and leave to simmer over low heat until the pasta has completely absorbed the liquid (it will take about 5-7 minutes).
  • While the pasta is cooked in Armenian style under the lid, we will prepare the eggs. They need to be broken into a bowl and lightly beat with a fork or whisk along with salt and favorite spices. Ideal for pasta dishes are: dried basil, oregano, mint, garlic, red and black pepper, marjoram. In this case, it is better to focus on your unique taste and not be afraid to experiment.
Beaten eggs
  • We check our frying pan, open the lid and evaluate the condition of the dish. If all the water has been absorbed into the pasta and the consistency suits us, fill the culinary masterpiece with beaten eggs, mix, cover again and keep on low heat for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove the lid, mix again and serve the finished dish on the table, at which the hungry family is already tapping spoons on empty plates.
