How to make caramel from sugar: a recipe for cooking at home

How to cook caramel in the microwave?

This method will allow you to cook caramel from sugar at home in just 15 minutes. The consistency of the finished product will look like soft iris.

For cooking you will need:

  • refined white sugar - 200 grams;
  • salt - 2 grams;
  • vanillin - 3 grams;
  • condensed milk - 100 ml;
  • honey - 100 ml;
  • unsalted butter - 100 grams.

Cooking Algorithm:

  1. Melt the butter in a deep bowl, putting it in the microwave for half a minute.
  2. Mix sugar, honey and condensed milk, combine with butter. The dishes should be very deep, since during cooking caramel will create a lot of foam and rise.
  3. Put the dishes with the mixture in the microwave for nine minutes at a power of 1000 W. When the future caramel gets a pronounced brown color, turn off the microwave and remove the dishes with the mixture to cool.
  4. Pour the resulting caramel into a large cooling mold, pre-lubricating it with oil, and sprinkle with vanilla.

To prepare the test you will need:

  • a dozen eggs of category C 0;
  • baking flour - 150 grams;
  • refined white sugar - 150 grams;
  • vanillin - one teaspoon;
  • salt.

For cream:

  • water - 50 ml;
  • cream - 1 liter;
  • sugar - 250 grams.

  1. Pour 50 ml of water into a deep pan and add 250 grams of sugar. Boil caramel until dark.
