Strawberries for the winter, cooked in accordance with all the rules, will be very useful. It will not lose its value during storage. Of the sweet blanks, perhaps the most delicious will be strawberry jam. Five minutes cooked from ripe, juicy berries will perfectly preserve not only their aroma and taste, but will not lose their valuable, useful substances during cooking.

Strawberry Jam. Five minute

Freshly picked or bought at the market berries are sorted and cleaned. They are washed well and slightly dried. Strawberries for the winter will have a unique taste if ripe but not overripe berries are used to make the jam. They are placed in a container and filled with sugar. Six kilograms of sugar is needed per kilogram of strawberries. Berries are infused for six hours in a cool place or in the refrigerator. After that, five minutes from strawberries is cooked. Well-washed strawberries are dried slightly and placed in boiling sugar syrup. It is boiled for five minutes. Hot jam is packaged in sterile jars and rolled up. The cooled jars are transferred to storage in a cool place.

Strawberries for winter

Thick strawberry jam is cooked by boiling three times for five minutes. For this method, one kilogram of sugar will be required per kilogram of berries. Prepared berries are covered with sugar. After six hours, they secrete enough juice. A bowl of berries is put on fire, brought to a boil and boiled for 5 minutes. Five minutes from strawberries should cool. Then it is again brought to a boil and boiled for five minutes. Remove from heat and cool again. This process is repeated three times. After the last boiling, the prepared jam is laid out in sterile jars and rolled up. Sweet treat is done.
