Banana dishes - delicious and healthy

Bananas are a rare storehouse of useful nutrients that not only help the body recover, but also make us more beautiful. They contain substances such as:

- tryptophan, which reduces stress (which means it prevents aging, hair loss, etc.);

- vitamins A (promoting bone growth and supporting immunity), B (helping to preserve the main components of female beauty - hair, skin and nails), C (a powerful antioxidant that prevents aging and enhances immunity), E (antioxidant, which, moreover, prevents thrombosis and rejuvenates the skin), F (the so-called anti-cholesterol vitamin, which normalizes blood pressure and helps improve skin condition);

- minerals (for example, potassium, which maintains the acid-base balance, stabilizes the water balance, improves muscle function)

- carotene - a substance that reduces the likelihood of cancer and cardiovascular disease and slows down the aging process.

Cooking banana dishes

First of all, it should be clarified that there are about 300 varieties of bananas, but all of them, in fact, are divided into 2 types: sweet and starchy. Sweet ones are the very bananas that we buy to eat raw, and starchy ones are just the ones that are usually made (although, let’s say, straightforward, banana dishes are sweet: fried, steamed, boiled - no worse than from starch). In addition, there are dwarf bananas (they are sweeter than usual), red bananas (especially good in baked and fried form) and even bananas that taste like an apple. In short, the choice for lovers of gastronomic delights is simply immense.

Chocolate Bananas

The recipe for this dish is quite simple. For 2 bananas, we need 100 grams of chocolate (for those who like sweets - milk, for lovers of contrasts - bitter) and about a glass of roasted peanuts.

Bananas need to be cut into about 3-4 parts, chopped peanuts (determine the size to your liking), and melt the chocolate in a water bath or (which is easier) in the microwave until liquid. Then, each piece of banana must be dipped in chocolate and roll in nuts. After that, the resulting delicacy needs to be cooled in the refrigerator and - Bon appetit!

Banana Cheesecake

To prepare this tasty and light dish you will need: 4 bananas, 400 grams of cottage cheese (preferably with vanilla), 1 egg, a couple of tablespoons of raisins, the same amount of sugar and flour.

Grind the bananas with a blender, mix the curd with flour and egg, then add the bananas and raisins. We grease the form in which we are going to bake the oven and bake the resulting mass for about 20 minutes. Cheesecake decoration - to your taste, as an option - whipped cream with banana, and it’s very delicious to pour it with caramel sauce.

Banana dough pie

Banana dishes are very interesting if you add them to the dough. To make a pie, we need 1 cup of flour, the same amount of powdered sugar, 2 eggs, 4 bananas, 100 grams of butter, a little ground walnuts, and baking powder.

Grind the butter with powder, gradually introducing beaten eggs there. When you get a homogeneous white mass, add 2 tbsp. tablespoons of warm water, flour and powder (1 sachet). Next, carefully softened bananas and nuts are added to the dough.

The baking dish is greased with oil, the dough is laid on it and baked for about 20 minutes. at a power slightly above average. You can decorate the cake with powdered sugar and bananas.

Bananas with ham

Banana dishes are not only dessert. For example, you can make a delicious salad from them. To cook it, stock up on the following set of products: 2 bananas, 100 gr. ham, 1 tomato, 200 gr. rice and approximately 300 gr. fresh or pickled vegetables to taste.

Bananas must be peeled, cut into 2 parts, each of which is wrapped in a slice of ham. Fry cooked vegetables a little in vegetable oil, boil rice, cut the tomato into circles. Bananas wrapped in ham are also slightly squeezed (on vegetable, and for those who like a more piquant taste - on peanut butter). Then put all the ingredients on a plate: in the center - rice, around it - vegetables, and on top of a banana in ham. Decorate all this with greens. The dish is ready!
