“Alex captivates a guy” is the name of the episode in which Mason, a charming werewolf, first appears. They met in a drawing class, when Mason complimented the girl, it was love at first sight. Mason is an exchange student from England, and Alex is trying to make him look more like an American: throwing water balls at passers-by, laughing at people. Later, the sorceress accidentally makes fun of Mason's painting and finds out that he loves to paint dogs during the American Revolution. She does not like that the guy wants to portray her with a dog face instead of a face, and she decides to fix it. With the help of magic, the girl bewitches Mason and makes herself his new muse. As it usually happens, the spell does not work as intended. Harper and Jerry convince Alex to spell the guy if she really loves him. She agrees with them, and while the rain washes the portrait off the asphalt, Mason kisses Alex for the first time.
Meanwhile, Justin is trying to find the mummy that took him to Juliet. To help his son, Jerry gives Justin a magical rear view mirror that allows you to see everything that happens behind him. At the end of the series, it turns out that Max is indirectly to blame not only for the death of all monster hunters, but also for the abduction of Juliet.

Two months after the events of the episode “Alex Charms the Guy,” Alex and Mason are still dating. However, in the evenings, the guy always leaves the diner in a hurry, which makes the young sorceress suspect that he has another girl. One evening, together with Harper, they decide to follow Mason and find out that he is a werewolf. For Alex, this does not matter, and she tells Mason that she is a sorceress. The guys hug, they are both happy that there are finally no secrets between them.
Soon, the young sorceress, seeing the experiences of her brother Justin due to the loss of Juliet, asks Mason to help find her. The girl wants Justin to be as happy as he and Mason. The guys went together to Transylvania, where Alex and Max managed to defeat the evil mummy. When it turned out that Juliet is Mason's ex-girlfriend, the guy impulsively admitted to her that he still loves her. It breaks Alex's heart and she breaks the relationship. Later, the guy returns to Transylvania again, where Alex proves his love with the help of a magic necklace that lights up if the owner likes to wear this necklace. However, during a fight with Juliet, the girl bites him, and the guy forever turns into a wolf, and then runs away into the forest.
After a long separation, Mason finally returns when Alex sees on TV a wolf painting portraits of a mysterious girl. The girl realizes that this wolf is Mason and, together with Justin and Max, goes in search of him. The guys find Mason, but the wizards who hold the wolf agree to give it only in exchange for a magical portal. Alex manages to outwit them and pick up his Mason, however he is still in wolf form. Later, the guys manage to return to his human face.
In the series “Alex surrenders,” Alex and Mason again have to part, since the rules prohibit werewolves and non-wizards from meeting. However, in the end, the guys, despite everything, stay together, as the girl wins the competition and becomes a family wizard, receiving magical power.
