We not only love cabbage, we have a special attitude to this vegetable. Pickled cabbage is considered to be almost the best snack, which can sometimes replace the most delicious salads. Therefore, any housewife must have in stock a certain amount of this very simple, however, such a delicious dish.
So, how is quick-pickled cabbage cooked?
You will need: a small head of cabbage, pieces five large apples, 15 g of salt, a liter of water and 100 g of sugar.
Washed and dried cabbage should be cut, however, not too finely. Later it will need to be poured with boiling water, and at the same time it will not have to turn sour and become too soft.
We also wash the sour apples and wipe them dry, cut into thin rings or half rings.
Next, you need to take a clean jar and put a thin layer of cabbage on its bottom.
On top of cabbage - the same layer of chopped apples.
Then again cabbage, apples again and thus fill the jar to the top, slightly ramming all layers in the jar tightly. The more they get, the tastier it will be.
We prepare the brine: boil a liter of water, barely boil - immediately turn off. Pour sugar and salt into boiling water, mix thoroughly.
Pour the brine into the jar. Close the jar tightly with a lid. Now we leave the jar on the kitchen table and periodically turn it over (shaking the brine).
Pickled cabbage of instant cooking can be kept warm, do not drain the brine.
There are many recipes for making cabbage . It can be chopped finely, but can be cut larger. Many people think that cabbage marinated in slices is much tastier than finely chopped cabbage. We offer you such a recipe.
Cabbage should be cut into slices, about 5x5 centimeters.
Then it must be tamped in 3-liter jars, however, it is not necessary to tamp too much, because more than a liter of liquid should still fit in the jar.
Then you should pour the cabbage in a jar with boiling water, allow it to cool slightly so that the jars with slices of cabbage become warm.
At that time, the Pokabanka were cooling, we were doing the marinade. When fast-marinated cabbage is made, the marinade will require:
- 15 peas of hot pepper
- 3 bay leaves
- ΒΎ pod of bitter red pepper,
- 15 cloves
- a pinch of cinnamon.
2 tablespoons of salt and sugar, 3 teaspoons of acetic acid 70% are used per liter of water.
As soon as the marinade boils, you should reduce the heat and let it boil for a minute.
Then we drain the water from the cabbage and measure out how much it turned out. The same amount of marinade is required. Pour the cans with the marinade cabbage and add acetic acid.
Now you can roll up the can and roll it on the table for a while so that the acetic acid mixes well. Instant marinated cabbage will be ready after 3 days. You can also make a sample of one jar, closed with a capron lid, and put it in the refrigerator. Focusing on it, it will be possible to correct something in the brine.

You will need: cauliflower, sugar, salt, spices.
Cauliflower should be cleaned of leaves, washed and divided into separate inflorescences, which should be blanched for about 2-3 minutes. To improve the color of cabbage, add salt and citric acid to the water. After blanching, the cabbage should be thrown into a sieve and cooled in running water. Put cabbage in jars and pour prepared marinade filling. To fill, sugar and salt must be dissolved in warm water and boiled for 10-15 minutes, filtered through a fairly dense cloth. Add vinegar. Spice should be put in each jar. Close and store cans in the cold.
