Annenkov Nikolay Alexandrovich was born on September 21, 1899. The real name of the popular movie actor is Kokin. The birthplace of the famous actor was the small village of Kalugino. Nikolai Kokin received his first education, while still a very small child, in a local rural school. Having grown up a bit, the young man decides to graduate from the Tambov School. He entered in 1909, and in 1916 already graduated from it. Annenkov is not going to stop there, he continues to move forward and enters the Moscow Institute of Railway Engineers.
For the first time, Kokin had the opportunity to go on stage in 1917. The young man was supposed to become an actor of an amateur production in his native village. Annenkov never sat still, he tried to get to know himself better and find a calling. 1918 was a time for a young man to work in an evacuation center. Here he held the position of clerk. In 1919, the actor became a member of the Kirsanovsky district food committee. In the same period of time, along with other volunteers, he went bravely to defend his homeland in the ranks of the Red Army. Here Nikolai became one of the cultural workers. Immediately after the war, Annenkov went to study theater art at the Higher Theater Workshops located at the Maly Theater. Over the entire period of his acting career, the man played more than 200 roles in theatrical productions and cinema.
In 1941, the actor, along with his theater, was evacuated to Chelyabinsk. Here he continued his acting career as the head of the theater’s front-line concert team. In 1946, the man managed to achieve universal recognition and get a job as a teacher at the Shchepkin Theater Institute. The man lived an entire era. Being a real actor, Kokin met his 100th anniversary on the stage of his native theater. Here he played his last role and a few days later - on September 30, 1999 - he died.
The personal life of the actor
Nikolai Annenkov was married only once in his life. His wife was the actress of theater and cinema, as well as the teacher of the Theater Institute Shchepkina - Tatyana Mitrofanovna Yakushenko-Annenkova. The actor met her in 1961. By this time, the woman managed to become a widow. Her previous husband was the famous soloist of the Bolshoi Theater V.I. Yakushenko. Seeing a woman, Nikolai realized that he was in love for the first time. Mutual sympathy led to a successful marriage. The actors lived together for 38 years. Tatyana Mitrofanovna died on November 11, 1997. In the face of his chosen one, Kokin found a beloved woman, a beautiful wife, a true friend and ally.
