Ingredients : 200 ml of milk, 200 ml of heavy cream, 225 g of sugar, four rose petals, 5 yolks.

Grind sugar and rose petals in a blender. You can use an ordinary knife. Pour cream and milk into a small saucepan, pour half of the crushed petal-sugar mass, mix and send to a quiet fire to dissolve the sugar. The remaining half of the petal-sugar mixture is combined with the yolks. Beat the resulting mass with a mixer until it acquires a light shade. As soon as the sugar dissolves, remove the pan from the heat, without stopping stirring, we introduce the sugar-yolk mixture. We put the dishes back on low heat, cook the resulting mass until the consistency of thick sour cream. Then remove the pan from the stove, but do not stop stirring the contents. You need to do this a couple more minutes. We cool and send our future ice cream to the freezer. It must be periodically mixed so that it is evenly frozen.

Marmalade

Ingredients : a cup of water, 500 g of rose petals, 2 g of citric acid, 100 g of sugar.

Place the petals, sugar, water in a flat bowl, leave the mixture in the sun for 7-8 hours. Then for 20 minutes we cook the prepared mixture, stirring it constantly. At the end, add citric acid and put the marmalade in jars.

Today, many people use rose petals to decorate their homes, especially bedrooms and bathrooms. Their use in cooking is also quite popular. Having tried pink marmalade once, you will remember its taste for a long time.

Jelly

Ingredients : 300 g of rose petals, 0.5 kg of red currant, 1 kg of apples, 1.5 l of boiled water, 1.25 kg of sugar and a drop of rose oil.

Squeeze juice from apples and currants. Cooked fresh fruit juice with sugar until thickened. Rose petals, the use of which is mandatory in this recipe, is dipped in cold water, and then in boiling water and again in cold. This procedure must be repeated twice. Then we add them to the boiling fruit juice and cook the resulting mass over low heat until all the petals stop floating on the surface. To the finished, slightly chilled jelly, add a drop of rose oil and pour into bowls.
