Pork roast with potatoes

Nowadays, pork is one of the most tasty, but also very popular types of meat. And if you cook the pork roast with potatoes, it will turn out tasty, healthy and healthy. And if you bake pork in the oven or in pots, for example, by cooking roast pork with potatoes, then the meat will become less fat and softer and more juicy.

A distinctive advantage of pig meat from other types of meat is that it is enriched with B vitamins. And pork is just a storehouse of protein.

For example, women who breast-feed a baby are advised to consume pork, as this product contributes to better milk production.

So, let's proceed directly to the preparation of dishes from such a healthy and tasty product. Namely, we cook roast pork with potatoes. Why with potatoes? Because he, like pork, is a favorite product of many of us. In addition, this dish can be served for a family dinner for several days, diversifying it with light salads.

To prepare this dish, you will certainly need pork (700 grams) and potatoes (about a kilogram). As well as two onions, spices for meat and to taste pepper and salt.

First of all, cut the pork in portions and send them to the pan. To make your pork and potato roast aesthetically pleasing, try to make the pork slices the same size. After all the water has boiled, add vegetable oil and diced onions.

Fry it all until golden brown. Then fill the meat with hot boiled water and pour in spices, pepper and salt. Stew until the meat is cooked.

While stewing meat, you can peel potatoes. Diced, add it to the finished meat. Stir, add water and stew until potatoes are ready.

Also a rather unusual recipe for “ pork roast ” involves stewing meat in light beer. To do this, 1.5 kg of pork is stuffed with spices, garlic and bay leaf. First, the meat is fried on both sides in a saucepan. Then 4 finely chopped onions, a bunch of soup greens, a little caraway and marjoram are added to it and baked in the oven for 40 minutes (temperature should not exceed 180 degrees).

Next, 250 ml of beer and meat broth are poured into the meat and cooked for another 40 minutes. From time to time, meat is poured over another 250 ml of beer. After that, the sauce is poured into another pan, and the meat is baked in a saucepan until a crust forms, but already at a temperature of 220 degrees.

The dish is prepared 1 hour 40 minutes and is divided into 6 servings.

Served on the table in even portioned slices with the sauce in which it was prepared. Either potatoes or bread dumplings are served as a side dish. In principle, the side dish should be chosen according to your own taste preferences.

This recipe is popular in Bavaria, but even with us, despite the not-so-simple cooking method, it will appeal to many lovers of hot meat dishes.
