Lyubov Polishchuk, a popular film actress, People's Artist of Russia, was born on May 21, 1949 in the city of Omsk. In early childhood, Lyuba discovered artistic abilities, relatives and friends enthusiastically watched the girl’s impromptu performances, in which she parodyed everyone in a row, sang and danced. However, when little Lyuba went to school, she became an extremely assiduous student, did not allow herself any artistic tricks, only at breaks she could dance a little. But at home, the girl didn’t sit still for a minute, in the kitchen arranged a play to prepare dinner with her mother in the lead role, in the living room all family members had to play each role, and the little artist danced between those present, giving orders on the go. In the fifth grade, Lyuba wanted to enter the city ballet school, but she was not accepted because of her high growth. I had to give up the dream of becoming a ballerina, but the girl was not upset at all, she declared publicly that art consists not only in dancing, but also in singing, she enrolled in a school choir and soon became a soloist. And at the age of fifteen, Lyuba became interested in theater. I watched the repertoire, trying not to miss a single performance. Each premiere in the theater was a holiday for the girl, she went to the theater with her parents, and shared her childhood impressions with them. Parents already understood that their child will certainly become a theater actress when she grows up - and this is what happened.

The listening took place against the backdrop of the jokes of the applicant Polishchuk, with which she made the admissions committee laugh and placed her in her room. Lyuba joked with excitement: when she entered the auditorium where the admissions committee was sitting, she saw several familiar faces that she had seen more than once on theater posters. And she was simply taken aback ... Nevertheless, the girl was accepted, and for three years she studied pop art in all its subtleties, lived in a rented room and, as there was not enough money for her life, worked as a housekeeper, a nanny for small children, and even a night watchman. The future actress resolutely refused the money that her parents could send her.
