Yes, it turns out that a simple piece of bread and butter has an author. The fact is that people often dropped bread on the ground and calmly ate it along with all the bacteria. The bread was dark, and the dirt on it was hard to see, only the spread of disease did not interfere. But the same piece of bread, covered with a layer of butter, when falling, will collect all the excess on a light sticky layer, it can be cleaned and eaten further. In such a simple way, Copernicus greatly helped the medicine of that time. And at the same time, cooking for five centuries ahead.

Since then, the sandwich has changed a lot, but still remains a favorite food for many. The sandwich is quickly prepared, eats with pleasure, convenient in transportation. Lenten sandwiches with potato crust. Peel a few raw potatoes and grate, add greens, salt, pepper, squeeze a clove of garlic. Put together on slices of loaf and fry in vegetable oil with the filling down. After the crust forms, you can fry a little on the other side.

Lean sandwiches with avocado. Take avocado, peel the peel, remove the stone, chop the pulp along with a clove of garlic and herbs, for example, parsley. Spread on slices of brown bread. Such a sandwich will be not only tasty, but also useful.

You can make lean sandwiches simple: fry a slice of whole grain bread in olive oil, grate with garlic, let cool slightly. Put tomato, cucumbers, lettuce, avocado slices in any combination on top, sprinkle with fresh herbs on top and enjoy a delicious sandwich.

Well, if you are a convinced meat-eater, then for sure you will like hot sandwiches. Any sausages, sausage or just boiled meat are suitable for them. Lightly grease slices of white bread with butter, put chopped meat on them, chopped tomatoes on top, grease a little with mayonnaise, sprinkle with herbs and cheese together. Put in the oven, remove when the cheese is melted.

Such sandwiches and put on the festive table is not a shame. And indeed, many sandwiches can become everyday festive if you use a little imagination to make them.
