Ingredients
For a simple recipe for cabbage rolls with potatoes, we need:
- medium-sized white cabbage - 1 pc.;
- potatoes - 1 kg;
- carrots (larger) - 1 pc.;
- onions - 2 pcs.;
- salt, spices, pepper (ground black) - to taste;
- any greens - 1 bunch;
- bay leaf - 1-2 pcs.;
- sunflower oil for frying.

- ketchup or tomato sauce - 2 tbsp. l

Cabbage preparation

- Gently rinse the cabbage, if we notice spoiled leaves from above - we remove them. In a circle along the stump, you need to make incisions and remove it. The cabbage is prepared, put it in a pan of large volume, pour water in such a way that it covers the cabbage completely. We put the pan on the stove and cook until the leaves are soft and elastic over medium heat. Next, remove the softened leaves from the head with a knife, a fork is also suitable for this, pull it out of the pan and get rid of excess water by putting it on a paper or cotton towel. We continue to cook the rest of the cabbage until a new portion of the upper layers is as soft, and do the same until we remove all the cabbage layers suitable for making stuffed cabbage with potatoes.
- The leaves obtained by steaming and separating from the head are laid out in any dish and allowed to cool slightly.

Carefully put on the stuffed cabbage cooked roasting. Pour a couple of glasses of water, boiled in advance, add salt, pepper, spices of your choice, bay leaf.
Now we can only cover the cabbage rolls with the remaining leaves of cabbage, if any. Cover the form with a lid or cover with foil (in this case, the foil layer must be punctured in a couple of places with a fork so that excess steam comes out). We send our stuffed cabbage to the oven, heated to 180-200 ° C, and cook for about half an hour.

Lazy cabbage rolls
To prepare the dish you will need:
- cabbage leaves - 10 pcs.;
- potatoes - 5 pcs.;
- onion - 2 pcs.;
- carrots - 1 pc.;
- mayonnaise;
- vegetable oil;
- salt pepper.
Cooking:
- Boil cabbage leaves until soft in slightly salted water.
