Those who were fortunate enough to stay alive could no longer stay there, so they created the Guardian - Bet Ray Bill, boarded the Skuttlebutt ship, went into a dream and went in search of a new home.
After some time, the ship ended up in the Milky Way Galaxy. He was spotted by Shch.I.T.'s satellite, and the valiant agent Nick Fury asked Thor to check who was on board.
Meeting with Thor
When Thor got there, Beta Ray Bill blocked his path, because he mistook him for a fiery demon, as, incidentally, Thor himself thought. During the battle, Odin's son lost his hammer for a while, and Beta Ray, having taken possession of it, gained the strength of Mjolnir and, using it wisely, he won. Meanwhile, the ship landed on an unknown planet, only Bill did not have time to examine it, since Odin transferred the fighters to Asgard to understand the situation.
True, being in Asgard, Beta Ray Bill does not feel like a guest, and Mjolnir is not going to give, because he considers it his trophy. "One" offers another way out - to conduct another battle, which will reveal the real winner.
The kingdom of Skartheim was chosen as an arena, most of which is covered with lava. A rather strange choice from the Scandinavian god, given that the physiology and costume of Bill in this territory gives him a great advantage. And he wins again. And Odin, patting his son by the hair, says that this will be a lesson for him.
Over time, Bill still returned Thor's hammer. Yes, he was not needed anymore, as the Asgard masters forged a new one for him - "Stormbreaker", which was not inferior in strength to "Mjolnir". Moreover, the rivals made friends and went to look for the people of Beal, taking with them the warrior Lady Seth.
Surtur
True, after some time Thor was recalled by Papa to Asgard, but Seth remained with Bill, because for her this terrible, but at the same time pleasant creature was of great interest. And she really wanted to help him. After spending several days on the ship, Seth found out what difficulties Bill had to experience in order to save the remaining people. She probably could have stayed with him forever, but dark times came. There was a threat of an attack by Surtur, the fiery demon, so Odin found them and asked them to lead an army on Earth. And he, along with Thor, remained to defend Asgard.
During one of the battles, Odin seized Surtur and flew with it into a fault in the ground, thereby destroying himself. Thor could not accept the loss of his father, so he asked Seth to take command of the army of Asgard, and he set off to look for the spirit of his father.
Seth asked Bill to stay with her to help rebuild the space city after a long war. Moreover, she began to have romantic feelings for him, but Beta Ray Bill (Marvel) could not stay, because he had responsibilities to his people, who had recently found a new home.
The battle for the New Corbin
And the Corbinians really needed help, because their new home was again in danger. The world eater, Galactus, and his assistant Stardust, were approaching him. At the same time, one of the Corbinians freed Bill's old enemy and predecessor, Alpha Ray, from imprisonment. He attacked just during the battle with Galactus, but he provoked an explosion, due to which all participants in the battle lost consciousness.
When Beta Ray woke up, it was already too late, Galactus sucked almost all the energy from his planet. The hero decided to at least save the Meta-sphere, protecting the souls of his people, but for this it was necessary to defeat Stardust. Only further action led to even greater trouble.
In the course of the battle, the demon Asteros was somehow freed. This option did not suit everyone, so the enemies had to unite in order to pacify the demon. And they succeeded. Using the power that Galactus endowed with Alpha Ray, they sent him to the Black Hole.
Death
To save the Meta-sphere, Bill had to return to Asgard. He hoped that local scientists could bring his people back to life. But, unfortunately, the demon defiled the ball, and from it came a negative copy of Bill - Omega Ray. Upon learning of this, Beta Ray Bill (Guardians of the Galaxy, 2014) became furious, he found Omega and brought down a stream of lightning on him, which killed both of them.
But suddenly a strange figure appears, covered with a white cloak. She collects the remaining souls of the Corbinians and tells Bill that the time to die has not yet come for him. After that, the stranger disappears, and Bill appears in the body of a man named Simon Walters. He did not stay in this image for long, because there were still a lot of problems in the universe, the solution of which required his intervention.
Abilities and equipment
The exploits of Beta Ray Bill could not have been accomplished without a specific set of abilities:
- Strength Beta Ray Bill is very strong. And according to his words, he is capable of destroying an entire planet with one blow.
- Speed . An alien, like a Formula 1 racer, loves high speeds. And the Stormbreaker hammer allows him to fly.

- Stamina . Beta Ray Bill is capable of doing without rest for a long time. And in a hot climate, oddly enough, he is even more enduring.
- Regeneration Having been injured, Bill is in no hurry to see a doctor or emergency room, he is healed on his own. It is a pity that lost limbs are not able to grow.
- Long lifespan. His body practically does not respond to aging, which in fact provides him with immortality. True, in the body of Simon Walters, the destructive process of the body went on.
In addition, additional protection for the body of Bill provides armor created by masters from Asgard. And the hammer of the Stormbreaker, similar in characteristics to Mjolnir, increases the striking power.
Beta Ray Bill in the movie
The alien was painted in the animated film Planet the Hulk, where he was captured and sent to the planet Sakaar. There they treated him cruelly, made him a gladiator and forced him to fight the Hulk. However, he managed to escape and free the rest of the gladiators.
