Delicious dumplings in the microwave

Dumplings in the microwave - a very popular dish among students and bachelors. And indeed, dumplings over the past few years have ceased to be a delicacy. Now it is no longer necessary to sculpt them with the whole family, devoting more than one hour to this occupation. Pork, beef, chicken and even vegetable dumplings are sold in any store for an affordable price.

What is the advantage of cooking this dish in the microwave? The fact that you can simply set the cooking time and the equipment itself will turn off at the right time. At this time, you can safely go about your business - for example, you can cut a delicious vegetable salad into a meat dish.

Microwave dumplings can be prepared in two ways.

Firstly, they can be boiled. The matter is simplified if there is a button "cooking dumplings" in the auto-cooking menu. It is enough to lay the desired volume and set the recommended power and cooking time.

If there is no such button, you can use the following recipe:

Put the dumplings in a deep glass bowl or ceramic cup. Pour them with hot water into 2/3 cups, salt, add a couple of peppercorns, 0.5 bay leaf to taste. Put in the microwave for 10 minutes at maximum power. Do not pour too much water - otherwise it will boil and pour over the edge.

Dumplings with sour cream - lunch in 5 minutes.

Required: a glass of boiling water, a tablespoon of sour cream, salt, spices and 200 gr. dumplings. Dumplings are placed in a deep cup. Separately, in a glass of water, sour cream and salt are diluted, pour dumplings with this mixture in a plate, put the plate in the microwave and cook for 10 minutes at high power.

Secondly, dumplings in the microwave can be fried. True, for this, it must necessarily have a grill function. A pound of dumplings is put in a pot or glass dish, salted, poured with hot water and put in the microwave to cook for 8 minutes at maximum power. Then they are removed, the remaining water is drained and laid out on a plate in one layer. Sprinkle with grated cheese (a piece weighing 100 grams is enough) and pour over melted butter. You can lightly pepper them or sprinkle with a universal seasoning. Then the plate with dumplings is put back into the microwave and the function β€œgrill” is turned on for 6-7 minutes. When the cheese is melted, and the dumplings in the microwave are lightly browned, the dish is ready.

Recently, dumplings began to be cooked not only in microwave ovens, but also in slow cookers.

Dumplings in a slow cooker with vegetables are very tasty, and most importantly, cooking them is simple.

For cooking you will need: a pound of dumplings, onion, a couple of carrots, 3-4 pcs. fresh potatoes, 2-3 tbsp. tablespoons of tomato paste and the same amount of sour cream, spices, salt, 2 bell peppers, vegetable oil.

The potatoes are peeled and cut into 4-6 parts, depending on size, carrots are cut into circles, and onions are thick half rings. Prepared vegetables are added to the bottom of the bowl and poured with a mixture of sour cream, tomato paste and vegetable oil. Top with a layer of ravioli and potatoes. Pour 2 glasses of hot water and put the bowl in the slow cooker. Dumplings are cooked for an hour in the "baking" mode.

The recipe can be slightly modified and cooked dumplings in a slow cooker with mushrooms.

For cooking you will need: large carrots, onions, a pound of ravioli, 400 grams of fresh mushrooms, a small jar of sour cream, salt and pepper. Onions are cut in half rings, and carrots are rubbed on a grater, mushrooms are cut into large pieces. Before you lay the vegetables in the slow cooker, you can fry them a little. Then the vegetables are mixed with frozen dumplings, seasoned with sour cream, salted and sprinkled with pepper. Depending on the model, dumplings are prepared for about 50 minutes in the β€œbaking” or β€œfrying” mode.

After cooking, dumplings need to be eaten immediately, otherwise they will soon stick together and lose their shape.
