Sumaha - seasoning made from dried berries. They grow on a shrub called Sumy and grows throughout the Mediterranean. Most often, these spices are used in sauces and marinades. This dark red seasoning can be found on any Turkish market. Culinary specialists use it in dishes of Oriental and Asian cuisine.

As for the taste, the sumac seasoning has a sour astringent taste. In many countries, it replaces lemon. This seasoning is in perfect harmony with fish, poultry, legumes and vegetables. In Iran, for example, they add it to rice.
