"Libexin": instructions for use

This article describes drugs that are similar in name, but based on different active substances and accordingly have different mechanisms of action. The active substance of libexin is prenoxdiazine (prenoxdiazine). The instruction explains the mechanism of action of the Libexin agent by blocking the peripheral parts of the cough reflex. The following effects appear here:

- bronchodilating effect - stretching receptors involved in the cough reflex are suppressed;

Auxiliary ingredients in the composition: sucrose, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, vanillin, crimson dye (Ponceau 4R), raspberry or cherry flavor, sodium hydroxide, purified water.

Carbocysteine ​​is a mucolytic and acts on the gel phase of the bronchial secretion. At the same time, disulfide bonds of glycoproteins are broken, so the viscosity decreases and the elasticity of the secretion increases.

Ingestion.
