Blanching is necessary to make the beans softer. However, canned beans should not be boiled for the winter. Therefore, after blanching, pour cold water over it, cool well. When packing chopped beans in jars, shake the container so that the products are stacked evenly. Tamp so that there is less empty space. Whole green beans for the winter are laid β€œstanding”, in vertical rows and also tightly. Then it should be filled with marinade, sterilized and rolled up. Another caveat: if you blanch the product in salted water, then the pods become harsh.
