Chris Owen: biography and filmography

Chris Owen is an American actor and photographer. He became famous in his teens due to secondary roles in the films “Major Payne” and “October Sky”. Best known to the general public for his role as Chuck Sherman, nicknamed Sherminator in the comedy franchise American Pie, has also appeared in the spin-offs of the main series of films.

Childhood and youth

Chris Owen was born on September 25, 1980 in Houghton, Michigan. In early childhood, he moved with his family to California. After graduating from high school, he entered Stephenson College. At the age of ten, he first appeared on the big screen, playing in a small French-Canadian film.

In the late nineties, Chris Owen appeared in several successful films. He played supporting roles in the drama October Sky, the youth comedy I Can’t Wait, the romantic comedy This Is All She, and the movie Major Payne.
