It is difficult now to say exactly who or even which people first thought of making an omelet. The name of this dish is French. But this does not mean that the omelet was born on the banks of the Seine. Moreover, the French make it without adding milk. There are many omelet recipes in the world. In Italy, this is fritta. It is customary for the Slavs to add milk to the omelet, so that a tender souffle is obtained. In Spain, this dish is prepared like tortilla with potatoes. It is fried in a pan, baked in the oven, kept over steam. And with the invention of kitchen appliances, it became possible to cook an omelet in the microwave. Only instead of a frying pan we will use a microwave oven. Take a bowl that is suitable for a microwave. We will break two eggs there and easily beat them (until foam appears). Add half a glass of milk. Season with salt and black or red pepper. Cut the half of the tomato into a small cube. Add to the egg and milk mass. Three thirty grams of cheese or chop it into strips. And the final touch is greens. You can take any - dill, parsley, basil, cilantro, celery, onion. Finely cut a couple of branches - and into the egg mass. Mix. We put at full power and cook for about four minutes.
Complex microwave omelet in a mug
The recipe for cooking in a microwave oven allows you to serve a meal to each family member separately - with his favorite additives. Take a ceramic mug, break two eggs there. Beat it lightly with a fork. Add the foods that we love in the omelette: julienne cut sausage or ham, cheese, herbs, etc. Season with salt and spices. Shuffle. In a word, we do everything just as if we were going to fry a dish in a pan. But we will cook the omelet in the microwave. The recipe tells us to put the uncovered mug in the oven for one minute. We will see that the omelet has baked at the walls of the dishes, and in the middle the eggs are still damp. In this case, mix the contents of the mug with a fork and put in the oven for another one and a half minutes. To make the dish more lush and tender, add two tablespoons of milk before baking in a mug.
Omelet in the microwave for a child
This recipe will create an original dish. But children like it so much when the food looks unusual. We generously lubricate the mug with butter from the inside. In another container, mix all the ingredients for the omelet. If we are cooking for a child, it is most reasonable to take not chicken, but quail eggs - they are much more useful. Next, add cream or milk. If you are planning to cook an omelet with sausage or ham, put this ingredient on the bottom of the mug. Pour in the egg and milk mixture. Put crackers on top. We cover the mug with a special film for microwave ovens or a lid. Set the oven to 850 watts, and the timer for two minutes. After a beep, the door does not open. Most calories in chicken are found in yolk. And the nutritional value of an omelet of three proteins is only seventy-four units, which makes it a completely dietary dish. So, first of all, we separate the yolks (they can be used for other purposes, for example, for making homemade mayonnaise). Beat the whites with a spoonful of milk until foam appears. Add black pepper, chopped herbs, salt. Since we make omelettes in the microwave, the recipe allows us to mix all the ingredients of the dish in a container suitable for use in a microwave oven. Cover the bowl and send for three minutes at a power of five hundred (maximum six hundred) watts.
French omelet
The dish that gave the name to egg soufflé is cooked without milk. And also without flour, semolina and broth. Only eggs, herbs and spices. Such an omelet turns out to be thin, but delicate in taste. The basic recipe is good for those who follow the figure. If we cook a French omelet in the microwave, the recipe allows you to add to the list of ingredients Bulgarian pepper, green peas, tomatoes, hard cheese, ham. Mix well with a fork. This must be done so that the eggs do not “shoot” in the microwave. We put the unit at 700 watts and bake for a minute. Then mix thoroughly again. And bake again a minute.
Fritata
The Italian fluffy omelet in the microwave recipe suggests doing with a lot of vegetables, but without the addition of milk. Traditionally, the frit is fried in a pan, and in the oven is brought to readiness. A microwave allows us to simplify the task. Chopped onion and bell pepper, pour 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil and simmer under the lid for four minutes at 700 watts. Add the grated zucchini and two potatoes, 60 grams of canned corn to the form. Stew for another eight minutes, stirring several times. Beat six eggs with pepper, salt and 50 grams of grated parmesan. Pour the vegetables. We no longer cover the capacity, but cook for six minutes at a power of 400 watts. Sprinkle the prepared fritat with fresh basil and grated cheese.
Mexican breakfast
This recipe for omelet with milk in the microwave will appeal to spicy lovers. After all, the dish is prepared with salsa sauce. This omelet can also be served in a cup. We’ll break an egg into a mug, add a spoonful of milk, 50 grams of grated cheese, a pinch of salt. Tortilla cut into pieces, also sent to a cup. Pour a spoonful of salsa. Put the mug in the microwave for one minute without covering it. If there is a need (unbaked center), stir, set for another sixty seconds. Serve by watering the omelet with sour cream and sprinkled with fresh herbs.
