Actress Elena Verbitskaya was born in Kazakhstan in 1977, after graduating from the Dzhambul Central School of Culture and Arts in 1997, she worked for seven years in the Russian Regional Drama Theater in Taraz (the regional center of the Zhambyl region in Kazakhstan, until 1997 the city of Dzhambul).
After moving to Saratov in 2000, Verbitskaya entered the University. N. Chernyshevsky specialty theater art.
Work on the stage
In the Dzhambul Theater, the actress played more than a dozen roles, including:
- in the play "Dance Teacher" based on the play by Lope de Vega, she played the role of Florela;
- in the production of "Last Attempt" based on the work of M. Zadornov, the actress played Oksana;
- in "Trouble from a Tender Heart," Verbitskaya embodied Nastenka et al.
Along with her studies in Saratov, Elena Verbitskaya began working at the Volsky Drama Theater. For eleven years, the actress tried on a huge number of roles:
- In the play "For Two Hares," she embodied the life of Galya.
- In the production of "Lefty" based on the tale of N. Leskov in the arrangement of V. Konstantinov, the actress played the role of the Flea.
- In the play "Vassa Zheleznova" based on the play by M. Gorky, Verbitskaya played Natalia.
- In the theatrical production "For every sage is quite simple" based on the play by A. Ostrovsky, the talented actress embodied Mashenka on stage.
- In the "House of Bernarda Alba" based on the play by Federico Garcia Lorca, she played the role of Magdalena.
- In "The Marriage of Balzaminov" (play by A. N. Ostrovsky), viewers saw Verbitsky in the image of Anfisa.
In 2006, she was nominated for the Golden Harlequin Regional Festival for her role as a Flea. In addition to working on stage, Elena Verbitskaya taught acting and choreography at the music school. In 2011, she moved to Novorossiysk, where she works in the city theater.
Movie career
Since 2012, the actress has been invited to shoot in television series. These are mostly episodic roles. Film lovers and admirers of Verbitskaya’s talent can see her in the following works:
- "All the treasures of the world" in the role of Oksana (2013);
- In "Tili-tili dough" she played the milkmaid Raisa (2013);
- In The Fugitive - Nadia (2017);
- In "Swallow", the actress embodied on the screen Galina Mikhailovna (2018) and others.
Now (2019), actress Elena Verbitskaya takes part in the filming of the television series Doctor Martov. She works on the role of Vera.
