The medicine "Grippol Plus": recommendations for use

Grippol Plus is a flu-inactivated, polymer-subunit, trivalent vaccine. It is used both for subcutaneous and intramuscular administration.

The influenza plus vaccine consists of protective antigens isolated from purified type A and B influenza viruses that are grown on chicken embryos. Every year, in strict accordance with the change in the epidemic situation, changes in the antigenic composition of the vaccine are carried out.

The drug is a slightly opalescent liquid that is either colorless or has a yellowish tint. The use of this tool helps to build immunity against influenza. The medicine β€œGrippol plus” begins its action about a week and a half after the introduction into the body, and its effect persists for a year. The vaccine is effective for patients of any age. In 75-95% of vaccinated people, antibody titers that are protective against influenza viruses are determined. Since the composition of the drug includes an immunomodulator - polyoxidonium, this increases the immunological memory and reduces the vaccination dose of antigens. Resistance to other infections also increases due to the fact that the immune status is adjusted .
