History

The Khabarovsk Regional Musical Drama Theater began its work in 1926 with the operetta Imre Kalman "Silva". Initially, it was called the Far Eastern labor collective of artists of the comic opera.

New building

Over the long history of the theater, many prominent artists and directors worked here. For many years, the artistic director of the theater was the Honored Art Worker of the Russian Federation, director Julius Izrakinovich Grinshpun.
