Actress, director, television presenter and teacher - all this combines Isakova Lyudmila, a man who has served in the Ivanovo Drama Theater for more than forty years. And before that, she had to go on the stage of theaters in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Petrozavodsk, Astrakhan, Volgograd.
GITIS and the first marriage
The actress believes that in Soviet times, theatrical business was going right. Students were distributed to various cities and theaters, thus helping to gain experience, which is now so lacking for young graduates of theater universities.
Lyudmila Isakova herself graduated from GITIS named after Lunacharsky, course of V. A. The actress got to Ivanovo after Konstantin Yurievich Baranov gathered a whole company of 12 young actors and brought brides to the city. On the stage of the drama theater Lyudmila Isakova played more than a hundred roles. Among them, Arkadina from The Seagull, Nastasya Filippovna in The Idiot, Martha in the production of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, Filumena in the play by Eduardo de Filippo's Filumena Marturano and so on.
And all the roles are favorite. There is a common phrase among actresses that each role is like a born child. And despite the fact that the statement is quite hackneyed, Lyudmila Isakova (actress) believes that it really is. Throughout her career, the actress had to play both dramatic and comedic roles, and they smoothly alternated with each other. Over the years, Lyudmila Ivanovna plays more and more in comedy, and she manages to do it with splendor.
In one period, the Ivanovo Drama Theater began to experience material difficulties. It became impossible for the theater to invite directors from the capital or other places, but there was no local directing. And then the director of the theater Nikolai Maksimov invited her to stage several performances on her own.
These were five productions that lasted quite a long time in the repertoire of the theater. Among them: “Signora”, “Lady dictates the conditions”, “Perfect couple”, “Thieves' ball”, “Eight women in love”. The last production lasted eight years, which is a kind of record for the director and actors.
"104 pages about ... theater"
In addition to the theater, Lyudmila Isakova worked for thirteen years as a television presenter of the author’s program on local television under the title “104 pages about ... theater”. At first, the actress found it difficult to cope with a new job; she had to “flop” several times on the table with her head. There were difficulties with the script that the actress had to write, with a montage that sometimes lasted up to four days. But judging by the number of letters that came to the studio, the program turned out to be interesting, informative and existed for more than ten years.
