We offer an alternative - recipes for lean pies. All this is a full-fledged, delicious baking, but it is practically dietary, since only lean products are used in its manufacture , which means that the severe effect on animal fats and bad cholesterol is reduced.

So, the first recipe is pasties with cabbage.

Dough: a glass of water, half a teaspoon of salt, 350 g of flour.

Make the dough like dumplings, but so that it is not too steep.

Filling: finely chop cabbage and onions, grate carrots on a coarse grater. Salt, stir and simmer in a pan, with the addition of vegetable oil, until tender. Cool.

Cut the dough into equal parts and roll thin cakes out of them.

Put the filling on one side of each cake, cover with the other side and pinch.

Fry in preheated vegetable oil until golden brown is desired.

You can also add mushrooms or pickles to the filling. Here are such simple at first glance, recipes for lean pies can be used for diet baking. And if you want something sweet, then instead of cabbage, you can use apple jam or any fairly thick jam.

Dough: in a glass of warm water, dissolve half a teaspoon of salt, add a large spoon of vegetable oil, two glasses of flour, and knead the dough.

Stuffing: peel and boil 1 kg of potatoes. Finely chop a couple of onions and stew until soft in vegetable oil. Crush the potatoes into a smoothie, adding, if necessary, a potato broth, but that it would not become too liquid. Add onions, and, if desired, spices for potatoes, mix.

Divide the dough into approximately equal balls, roll them into thin cakes and bake in a dry pan. Spread finished cakes in a stack, covering with a terry towel so that they do not become stiff and do not break.

Now put the mashed potatoes on one half of the finished pancake and close it with the second half. Go straight to the table.

By the way, the filling for kystyby can be made from rice with pumpkin, and from millet with raisins. A delicious recipe for fish pies, which are also prepared by economic Kazakhs. And if you start kystyrbai with pumpkin puree with dried apricots and dates, you will get a wonderful variety of dessert.

And finally, the recipe for a wonderful carrot cake, not only healthy, but deliciously delicious.

A glass of raw, grated carrots, mix with a glass of sugar, add a little cocoa powder, 2 tbsp. vegetable oil. In 1 tbsp. pour 1 tsp of soda lemon juice, stir and pour into the dough. Add a glass of flour, knead well and put in a greased form. Put in a preheated oven for half an hour at a temperature of 200C.

Sprinkle the finished cake with grated dark chocolate and any crushed nuts.
