A matter of taste: bananas in batter

A few decades ago, bananas in our country were an exotic fruit. Now you will not surprise anyone, and out of habit we only eat them raw. It turns out that you can make delicious dessert dishes from bananas. In this article, we’ll give you six interesting recipes for banana dishes.

Fried bananas in batter. For their preparation, in addition to bananas, you will need 100 g of kefir, 100 g of flour, sugar, cinnamon and vegetable oil. We mix kefir and sugar, adding a little cinnamon, gradually pour in the flour and stir. The batter should turn out by consistency roughly like sour cream. Dip peeled and chopped bananas in batter and fry until golden brown in a large amount of oil. Serve them with chocolate icing, ice cream, honey or sour cream.

Bananas in batter (Chinese version). Cooking batter: thoroughly mix 120 g of flour, 150 g of water, 1 tsp. starch and vegetable oil, 1 egg. Then fry the banana slices in it. Pour the finished pieces with melted honey and sprinkle with fried sesame seeds.

Bananas in batter (Indian version) are prepared in a similar way. The difference is only in the ingredients of batter - here you need 1 egg, flour, sugar and cardamom.

Bananas in batter (Indonesian version). For batter, you need coconut milk. If you can’t buy it, you can cook it yourself. To do this, mix half a glass of milk with vanilla sugar (1 tablespoon) and coconut flakes (4 tablespoons). Next, bring this mixture to a boil, boil for 1 minute, cool and filter. Now prepare the batter. It includes coconut milk, 50 g of vodka mixed with passion fruit syrup, 1 egg and a glass of flour. In melted butter, fry banana slices in batter.

After frying, put the fruit on a paper towel or napkin to remove excess oil.

Chocolate banana with walnuts. A bar of chocolate - black or milk - melt in a water bath, then add 2 tbsp. l condensed milk and stir. If you get a mass of too thick consistency, then it can be diluted with cream or milk. It is better to take short bananas, peel them and cut across into two parts. String each half on a wooden skewer (breaking off the sharp end) and pour it with chocolate icing, and then sprinkle with chopped walnuts. In summer, this dish can be served frozen directly from the refrigerator.

Bananas in wine syrup. Pour 100 g of sugar into a saucepan, pour 150 g of red wine and bring to a boil. Then pour cinnamon (on the tip of a teaspoon) and boil for 1 minute. The resulting syrup is removed from the fire, in it we lower the bananas, sliced ​​in circles, and leave to soak for several hours. Put the dessert in the dishes, and before serving, put in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes.
