His voice is spoken by the young Gray Guard Alistair, a companion to the hero of Fereldena in the single-player role-playing game in the fantasy world Dragon Age, developed by BioWare. Once the actor upset his fans, saying that he had not received an invitation to voice character in Dragon Age: Inquisition, but soon the director of voice acting BioWare K. Livingston and Steve himself confirmed that he had started work on recording Alistair's voice for Inquisition.
Valentine also voiced Harry Flynn in a computer game in the genre of adventure action movie Uncharted 2: Among Thieves by Naughty Dog. Unfortunately, the character, originally a friend of the protagonist, cynically betrayed him with a light hand of the creators and committed suicide by blowing himself up with a grenade.

Steve Valentine twice married. The first wife of the actor was Sheri Valentine. Their life together lasted six years. The second time, Steve led the Canadian actress with Russian roots - Inna Korobkina. Spouses are happy in marriage. They are raising a daughter, Evie Rose (2011 p.).
