The use of this drug has a pronounced emollient, anti-inflammatory and antipruritic effect on the skin. Radevit ointment is produced (instructions for it are in each package) in the form of a homogeneous mixture of light yellow or white. The main active ingredients of this dermatoprotective agent are ten milligrams of retinol palmitate (vitamin A), five milligrams of alpha-tocopherol acetate (vitamin E) and 0.05 milligrams of ergocalciferol (vitamin D2). Additional substances are emulsion wax, butylhydroxytoluene, liquid paraffin, ethanol, butylhydroxyanisole, glycerol and purified water.

anti-inflammatory ointment "Radevit", the instructions for use recommend for the treatment of conditions such as
seborrheic dermatitis, eczema, neurodermatitis and
atopic dermatitis. In addition, it is an indispensable tool for ichthyosis - a disease that is characterized by thickening, peeling and dry skin. In case of uninfected wounds, cracks and burns, doctors quite often prescribe a Radevit dermatoprotective ointment. Its use is also indicated for people suffering from skin erosion, psoriasis or contact dermatitis of an allergic nature. In addition, this combination agent can be used for prophylactic purposes during remission after the end of therapy with drugs that contain glucocorticosteroids. For the treatment of so-called diaper dermatitis or diaper rash in newborns, the ointment "Radevit" also recommends. Also, this anti-inflammatory drug is actively used for sensitive skin, which has an increased susceptibility to cosmetic products.

The instruction strictly prohibits prescribing the Radevit dermatoprotective ointment if the patient has an individual intolerance to retinol or an allergic reaction to any other components, as well as with hypervitaminosis A, E or D. Pregnancy and the lactation period are also contraindications. In the latter case, breastfeeding should be stopped for the period of therapy. In addition, this anti-inflammatory and antipruritic drug should not be used simultaneously with medicines containing vitamin A.
As for the possible side effects that can be triggered by the use of Radevit ointment, here it is first necessary to highlight various allergic reactions. For example, hyperemia, skin itching, or hives may occur. There is also a risk of increased rash or the appearance of angioedema.
