From the balls, form flat cakes with a thickness of no more than 1/2 cm. Dip the flat cake into the butter preheated in a pan, and fry on both sides. Write cakes fried instantly. Put the finished product on a paper towel (to remove excess oil).
Kutmer: cooking recipe
Kutmer (literally translated from Turkish as “puff”) is Turkish puff pastry cakes.
The following products are required for their preparation:
- wheat flour - 0.5 kilograms;
- sunflower oil - 1 cup;
- butter - 4 tablespoons (tablespoons);
- salt to taste;
- live yeast - 1 spoon (teaspoon);
- water - 100-150 grams.
Dissolve yeast, salt, sugar in warm water , add flour. Knead the dough. Roll eight identical balls out of it.
Roll each ball into a very thin plate, grease with oil (pre-mix butter and sunflower oil). Then fold the edges into an envelope and grease again, then fold the edges of the cake again and grease. Fry the resulting envelope in a pan with a minimum amount of oil.
