The drug "Lactase Baby" is an additional source of the
enzyme lactase. A remedy is prescribed to eliminate the deficiency of this enzyme in children from birth to seven years. One capsule contains seven milligrams (seven hundred units) of the enzyme. Additional components: medium chain triglycerides, maltodextrin.
In the first year of a child’s life, one of the causes of digestive upset is lactose intolerance (failure). Lactose is a milk sugar. A large amount of this substance is present in breast and cow's milk, as well as in milk mixtures. The drug is contraindicated in case of intolerance to the components.
