When he appeared on the qualifying round of the 16th season of “The Battle of Psychics”, the audience, at least a little familiar with the Moscow underground, were amazed. Everyone had a single question in their head: "Why did he come here?" And indeed, why pass the tests intended for people with superpowers, to a person who combines the skills of a musician, avant-garde artist, screenwriter, underground actor and some others? After the first release of the season, viewers began an endless debate about who he really is: a psychic with an amazing gift, a good actor or a charlatan. So, Sergey Pakhomov. In November 1966, a boy named Serezha was born. He said that at the age of five, his parents sent him to a music school. He graduated from the violin class. But his friends, who were aware that he had some abilities, convinced Sergei that he simply needed to try his hand on an equal footing with other participants.
In the first qualifying round, when it was necessary to find a person hidden in the trunk of one of several dozen cars located on both sides of a large hangar, he struck everyone. Having brilliantly coped with the task, Sergey Pakhomov found the man twice (!). The “battle of psychics" has never seen such a thing. None of the participants have yet shown such a magnificent result. However, when he chose the right car, the host did not believe it, felt that Pakhom was just lucky, and asked him to try again. Which he did just fine!
