Intoxication of the body: symptoms and consequences

Today, people very often confuse the concept of "intoxication of the body" and its "poisoning". In principle, these terms are very similar in meaning, but still there is a fundamental difference: for example, poisoning causes penetration of toxic substances into the body, and intoxication is characterized by self-poisoning, which can occur in the body for various reasons. But these reasons can have both internal (when the body itself produces "waste" and experiences difficulties in their productive elimination), and external nature (toxic substances enter the body from an aggressive environment).

Intoxication of the body is very dangerous, the symptoms of which can be the most unexpected, and the consequences are the most unpredictable. Very often, poisonous substances that produce pathogenic bacteria can aggravate pathology and become a significant cause of frequent migraines, joint pain and other more serious abnormal processes of life. Intoxication entails a violent reaction of the body and has a detrimental effect on that system of the body, which is a sick link.

After the first aggressive reaction of the body to pathogenic microbes, the second stage of the disease is observed, when harmful microorganisms are already directed towards the organs, gradually affecting them. Also, complex suppression of all internal processes is often observed, which is why it is urgent to respond to such an anomaly as intoxication of the body, the symptoms of which require productive treatment. Often the liver enters the danger zone, because it is she who is responsible for cleansing the body of toxic elements, kidney damage is also possible, since some of the toxins are excreted from the body with urine.

In order to understand the presence of anomaly, intoxication of the body, its symptoms must be thoroughly studied, but here there are some nuances. With the progression of Waterhouse-Friedericksen syndrome, the patient's body temperature rises sharply to a dangerous limit, and the patient's skin becomes very pale with a predominance of a bright red rash. This condition can be constantly aggravated, and as a result, a toxic coma is inevitable.

If we are talking about a small child, then intoxication of the body is undesirable, the symptoms of which are very similar to signs of a cold or ordinary poisoning. But not everything is so simple, because with an exacerbation of Reye's syndrome, the strongest vomiting is replaced by spasms of the extremities, and everything can end with a similar coma.

If the intoxication of the body is expressed by acute insufficiency of the functioning of the kidneys, sharp abnormalities of the blood composition appear, and the number of blood clots sharply increases. This is the first sign of anemia. So, the patient has an edema of the lips, nose and eyelids at an early stage, and then there are pains in the stomach, indigestion and profuse vomiting, while the skin turns yellow. Not excluded and nosebleeds.

With damage to the nervous system, encephalopathy and toxic poisoning of nerve fibers are observed , therefore , adrenal gland dysfunction often occurs. Such an anomaly can be expressed by obvious weakness and lethargy, a complete disorder of sleep and appetite, as well as a violation of the internal temperature regime and sharp jumps in blood pressure, and this once again confirms the destructiveness of such a phenomenon as intoxication of the body, the symptoms of which are expressed differently in each clinical case based on the characteristics of the patient’s immunity.

Intoxication of the body is fraught with consequences, the treatment of which is individual in nature, taking into account all the features of the sick body. So that the consequences of this pathology are not irreversible, you should respond to all alarming signals of the body in a timely manner.
