A delicious cornflake cookie is prepared as follows:
- Separated egg whites are placed in a bowl of a food processor. To them they pour. Tsp. salt. After installing the nozzle for the mixer, thoroughly beat for 60 seconds.
- After 1 minute, slowly pour sugar in small portions and continue to beat until the mass turns into a tight, stable foam.
- While the combine continues to work, 1/3 of the corn flakes is ground (using a blender or rolling pin). The rest are left intact. Please note that if you bought sugar-free cereal, the amount of this product used for whipping proteins should be increased.
- While the mechanical processes continue, chop dried apricots and chop nuts. The first ingredient, by the way, can be replaced with prunes, dried cranberries, dried cherries. As for nuts, any one will do: peanuts, walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, etc.
- Having coped with the tasks set above, when the proteins turn into air foam, 2/3 of the corn (whole) flakes and the part that was previously crushed are sent to them.
- Add dried apricots and nuts, mix everything carefully carefully.
- They cover the baking sheet with baking paper and use the spoon to spread the resulting mass portionwise, forming future cookies. One of them takes about 1 tablespoon of the self-made dough.
- A baking sheet with raw corn billets laid for future cookies is placed in a preheated oven to 180 Β° C. Baking time - 15 minutes. But it all depends on the features of the oven. Therefore always pay attention to the color of the cookies. If they have acquired a beautiful caramel shade, then they are ready.
