There are many different recipes for cooking beef ribs in the oven. They can be prepared with a minimum amount of additional ingredients using only standard spices. If you have a lot of time, then it is recommended to leave the meat for marinating all night. Serve this dish best with a salad of fresh vegetables or boiled potatoes.

Experienced chefs never recommend starting the process of preparing any dish until all the necessary products are on the table, otherwise you will be distracted from cooking and you may miss some important process. For cooking, you need to take:

  • beef ribs - 2 kg;
  • several cloves of garlic (it will need to be grated on a fine grater);
  • 3 tablespoons of French or 2 tablespoons of regular mustard;
  • 50 ml of vegetable oil;
  • black and red ground pepper (lovers of too spicy food are recommended to use cayenne pepper);
  • salt.

You can also use a small amount of soy sauce, although it is not included in the classic recipe, but significantly improves the taste of meat.

Baked beef ribs in the oven are very quick and easy to cook. The first step is to strip the meat. This stage is the most responsible and difficult. It is imperative to remove all streaks and films so that when consumed, there are no inclusions that cannot be chewed.

After that, cut the meat in identical pieces (as far as possible). If the pieces are very different from each other, then some will already be completely dry, and the second will only reach the desired state. Take a bowl in which the ribs can fit and mix in it: vegetable oil, all kinds of pepper, mustard, garlic and salt. After that, put the ribs in a bowl, and mix everything thoroughly. Put the food container in a cold place for at least 2 hours, and preferably 6-8.

After this time, the ribs with the marinade must be placed in a deep baking dish and covered with foil. Cook them at a temperature of 190 degrees for 1 hour. Cooking ingredients

To prepare this dish, you will need to acquire these products:

  • beef ribs - 2 kg (it is recommended to use meat of a not very old animal, otherwise you will have to bring them to a soft state for a very long time);
  • oranges 2 pcs.;
  • soy sauce - 150 ml;
  • ginger root - 15 g (ground ginger can be used, in which case it will require significantly less);
  • Red pepper;
  • bay leaf, rosemary, various types of peppercorns;
  • several tangerines;
  • one lemon.

When all these ingredients are collected, you can proceed directly to cooking.

How to cook

First of all, you need to make a marinade for beef ribs in the oven. To do this, take a large pot, where to pour 2 liters of water, put it on fire. Add a sufficiently large amount of salt, bay leaf and all other spices to it, you can also use other seasonings, they will only improve the taste of the dish. Boil this mixture a little.

While the marinade is being prepared, it is necessary to clean the ribs well from the veins and films. Then rinse them under running water. Cutting into small pieces now does not make sense, this can be done later, when they boil a little. Now you just need to give them such a form that will go into the pan. Put the meat in a deep container.

Remove the zest

Peel the tangerines, squeezing a small amount of juice from them, put on the ribs. Gently remove the zest from the orange. It is best to carry out this procedure with a special knife for the zest, but if it is absent, then an ordinary peeler will come to the rescue. With its help, you can easily remove the desired layer. The zest should also be placed on the ribs. Remove the white skin from oranges and squeeze the juice onto the meat, it is also necessary to squeeze the juice of 1 lemon, put its zest on the ribs.

Pour 150 ml of soy sauce into the container where the meat is and put slices of ginger root (or sprinkle with plenty of ground), season with pepper. When the marinade begins to boil in the pan, after a few minutes, you need to turn off the heat and wait for the liquid to cool to room temperature. Grease the boiled ribs with vegetable oil, if desired, you can also add very little mustard. Put them in the oven, which was previously preheated to 200 degrees. Bake at this temperature for 20 minutes until a slightly crisp, golden crust forms.

Cut the finished ribs into portions and can be served. It is best to eat them together with sauerkraut, cucumbers or tomatoes. You can also use boiled, fried or baked potatoes as a side dish.

A very simple but very tasty ribs recipe. To cook this meat in a sleeve, you should take this amount of products:

  • ribs - 600 g;
  • potatoes - 400 g (meaning already peeled vegetable; in unprocessed form, about 600 g of the product are needed);
  • 100 g of carrots and onions;
  • a few tablespoons of tomato paste;
  • 2 cloves of garlic.

The meat must be thoroughly peeled and washed, cut into small and identical pieces. Cut peeled potatoes and carrots into slices, and onions with straws or small cubes. Put all the ingredients in one bowl, pour them with vegetable oil, add chopped garlic, tomato paste, salt and your favorite spices. It is recommended to use special sets that are called β€œFor Beef Dishes”. Mix everything thoroughly and put in a sleeve.

Bake the dish for 1-1.5 hours at a temperature of 180 degrees. During this time, the meat should already be fully prepared, and the vegetables will get a pleasant aroma of tender ribs. After this time, break the sleeve and arrange all the ingredients on plates. The dish can be abundantly sprinkled with chopped herbs.

Another very simple, but very tasty recipe for beef ribs. To make two pots, you need to take: 600 g of meat, 150 g of onions and carrots, about 400 g of potatoes, 150 g of bacon, salt, bay leaf and pepper.

Cooking should begin with stripping the meat, remove all the veins and the film, then cut into very small pieces and fry in a pan with small bacon cubes, transfer to a bowl.

Chopped potatoes

Cut the peeled potatoes into cubes, it also needs to be fried until golden brown, dumped into a bowl of meat. Cut carrots and onions into small cubes, fry until cooked, put to the rest of the products. Add salt, pepper, spices, and mix well. Arrange the ingredients in pots, put on a bay leaf, you can pour about 50 ml of water into each pot and put in the oven for 1 hour at a temperature of 200 degrees.
