Faithful fans of the world-famous animated series South Park celebrated last year the 20th anniversary of this amazing show. Today we decided to pay tribute to the main creators of South Park - Matt Smith and Trey Parker, because it was thanks to them that the world was able to see this legendary project, filled with sparkling humor and satire.
Matt Stone
Film and dubbing actor, animator, director and talented screenwriter. In addition, Matt Stone takes part in the activities of the music group, where he occupies the positions of bass player and drummer. He has won several prestigious awards. The greatest fame was brought to him by the animated series "South Park", on which Matt began working with his friend while studying at the university in 1992. Subsequently, he participated in the voice acting of many characters in the show and acted as a prototype for Kyle Broflovsky.

Trey Parker
The second creator of "South Park" (a photo of him can be seen below) is also not only an animator, but also an actor in cinema and dubbing. Engaged in directing, music and scriptwriting. Like his partner, the creator of South Park, Matt Stone, Parker has won several prestigious film and music awards, and has even been nominated for an Oscar.
Trey is an actor dubbing many characters in South Park. In addition, he acted as a prototype for Stan Marsh.

Stone and Parker began their work on the future legend long before the show went on television. In 1992, as simple university students, Matt and Trey created their first five-minute frame-by-frame animation. During the work, the simplest things were involved: building paper, scissors and an old 8 mm camera.

With the launch of the 22nd season of the scandalous animated series South Park, its creators have hinted that they plan to soon complete work on their most successful project. The total number of South Park series that have already been released makes it the second longest animated series in the history of American TV (The Simpsons are in first place). The story of the adventures of a group of four boys is so loved by viewers around the world that they have been looking forward to the release of new episodes for 20 years.
Despite the success of the cartoon, Matt Stone and Trey Parker are likely to complete its shooting after the current 22 season. The creators of South Park reported this via Twitter, posting a short video about the imminent closure of the project.
Fortunately, fans of “South Park” were not very upset to learn about the possible closure of their favorite show. Some users managed to suggest that Stone and Parker are likely to continue to work on games based on the popular animated series. Already, fans can play two of these projects under the names Stick of Truth (Rus. "Stick of Truth") and The Fractured But Whole (Rus. "Broken, but whole").
