The film "Gogol" (the actors and roles have been looking for each other for quite some time) delights the eye with beautiful views, decorations and costumes, which, however, did not always correspond to the era. But a very nice picture is provided for the eyes. How interesting is the same Menshikov in a red coat. The glasses in his image are a little out of place, but everything looks pretty impressive. Everything that happens on the screen causes sincere interest. And although it’s still difficult to attribute the film to dynamic, it certainly won’t be boring.

On the last summer day of 2017, a new project of director Yegor Baranov, the film "Gogol", was released. The actors and the roles played by them in it are very ambiguous. And no surprise: the magnificent cast was ideally transformed into several unusual characters.
Judging by some reviews, there was an unexpected choice for the main role of Nikolai Vasilyevich Gogol actor Alexander Petrov (the same policeman from Rublevka).
Despite the fact that this actor is only 28 years old, there are already a lot of interesting works in his movie saw. He made his debut seven years ago with an episodic role in The Voices, but recognition came to him two years later, after the main role in the TV series When the Fern Blossoms. Then there were Maryina Roscha, Fir-trees 3, Fort Ross and others. Perhaps the most famous film in his creative biography was The Policeman from Rublevka, where Petrov managed to create the image of a kind of reckless guy.
Another, no less main role of Yakov Petrovich Guro went to Oleg Menshikov. You can talk a lot about this actor, but you can describe it with just one word - the master. He loves to improvise, and he is unpredictable. Here are two main features that are in Menshikov. The whole country for the first time admired him many years ago in one of the best films of the Soviet Union, Pokrovsky Gates. And this is despite the fact that the picture was the third in a row in his creative career. Since then, seeing his new work, viewers do not get tired of admiring the gift of his transformation. And for critics, Menshikov is still an unsolved mystery.
He has a lot of theatrical works (performances “Ordinary”, “Forest”, “Caligula”) and no less number of works in cinema, the most famous of which are “Burnt by the Sun”, “Siberian Barber”, “Doctor Zhivago”. One of his last roles, A. V. Tarasov in the film "Legend No. 17", simply captivated the audience.
Alexander Khristoforovich Binh was played by Evgeny Stychkin. This actor was just lucky to study at VGIK, because when he was admitted, he passed the oral exam well, and received one in writing. Yes, yes, all these were the consequences of missed schoolwork - in high school, Zhenya suddenly decided that he did not need to study, and skipped school. He made his debut back in '93, but this role, like the next few, was not particularly remembered by the audience. The first success came to the young actor after the film "April". And then it all started - interesting directorial proposals and the adoration of fans. To date, there are a lot of works in his movie saw, but Stychkin is not going to stop. With his second wife, actress Olga Sutulova, he met several years ago on the set of the painting “Contract for Love”. Very quickly they began to live together, but legalized the relationship only five years ago.
Leopold Leopoldovich Bomgart embodied in the picture Jan Tsapnik. This actor has his own approach to how to create the image of his character. He always works equally well, whether the main role will be offered to him or episodic. Tsapnik does everything so that even the smallest role becomes vivid and memorable. Since 1992, he was in the troupe of the theater. Tovstonogov, embodying many diverse characters. But in the movie, the actor turned out to be by accident, just falling into the eyes of the director Alexei Sidorov, who was just then looking for an actor for the role of businessman Arthur in the series “The Brigade”. Truly great characters were present in the picture - Alexander Pushkin (the role of Pavel Derevyanko) and Mikhail Lermontov (the role of Askar Nigamezyanova). Do not forget to draw in the script the images of Gogol’s parents: Julia Marchenko played her mother, and Andrei Astrakhantsev played her father.
You can talk endlessly about actor Pavel Derevyanko. And not only about his theatrical and film works, but also about romantic adventures. But dwell on the cast. Perhaps not all viewers know who it is, if you do not recall the paintings with his participation. It is very simple: “The Other Side of the Moon”, “Hitler, Kaput!”, “The Enchanted Land”, “9 Lives of Nestor Makhno”, “Super Bobrovs” and others. His characters are both comedic and quite serious. One of the best in Derevianko’s creative biography can be considered the role of a policeman who, in the first part of the series, is in the past, in the body of his father, and in the second in the future.
And there were Alexey Vertkov (Homa Brut), Artem Tkachenko (Danishevsky), Sergey Badiuk (Vakula smith), Marta Timofeeva (daughter of Vakula), Valery Rybin (black horseman) and many others.
The audience also knows Artyom Tkachenko for a long time. And not only for his serious cinema roles in the films “The Swordsman”, “Philip Bay”, “It is not harmful to dream”, “Crime by inheritance”, but also for the comedic roles in the series “Heavenly Relatives” and the film “Cinderella”. This year, Tkachenko starred in several films, which will soon be released. It will be melodramas, dramas, mystical thrillers, which once again emphasizes that a good actor can do almost anything.
