Wolfgang Mozart. Biography: childhood
The great composer does not owe his gift to his mother, Maria Anne. But Leopold Mozart - father - was a teacher, violinist and organist. Of the seven children in this family, only Wolfgang's older sister and himself survived. First, the father was engaged in playing the clavier with his daughter, who showed musical talent. The boy always sat nearby and had fun picking up tunes. Father noticed this. And in a playful way he began to engage with his son. At five, the boy was already free to compose plays, and at six he performed very complex works. Leopold was not against music, but he wanted his son's life to be more secure and interesting than his. He lived in this city until his last days.
