Loaf pizza is a simple and unpretentious dish, it can be prepared when there is no time or desire to perform culinary exploits. However, unlike a regular sandwich, this hot method of serving will allow you to fill up faster and cause minimal harm to the body.
Microwave Loaf Pizza
This is perhaps the fastest cooking option. You can start to set the table, barely starting the process. For 10-12 sandwiches you will need a loaf, 5-6 sausages (or 300 grams of boiled sausage). 5 tablespoons are also useful. mayonnaise, ketchup to taste, 100 gr. hard cheese, processed cheese, a small can of canned corn, greens.
The loaf is cut into slices, about 1 cm thick (you can buy sliced immediately). Each of them is greased with ketchup and mayonnaise, and then placed on a dish that can be put in the microwave. As a rule, 5-6 sandwiches are placed on 1 plate, so you need to cook them in several stages. On top of each pizza lay a little corn, on it - a sausage cut into thin rings (or sausage sticks). Next comes the turn of slices of processed cheese, and sprinkle on top with hard cheese, after rubbing it on a coarse grater.
Pizza from the loaf is cooked in the microwave for just a minute at maximum power. Before serving, each sandwich is sprinkled with herbs, you can also decorate with olives, if they are at hand.
Oven loaf pizza
Those who don’t use a microwave can recommend baking hot sandwiches using a conventional oven. True, in this case it will take a little longer (about 10 minutes). But a lot more pizza will fit on a baking sheet than on a plate, which means that everything will be cooked at the same time. As for the recipe itself, you can take the previous one as a basis or dream up by changing the ingredients. For example, instead of the loaf, small bagels are used, cutting them along. In this case, one is enough for 2 fairly large sandwiches. It is better to remove the middle of them, placing the filling instead. If there is a small piece of ham in the refrigerator, then it is better to use it instead of sausage. Ketchup can be replaced with a few rings of fresh tomato. Serve the dish better with juice, tea or other drinks.
Pizza from a loaf in a pan
There are situations when there is no microwave or oven. But in this case, you will get a wonderful pizza from a loaf, for the preparation of which even an ordinary frying pan is suitable. It is desirable that a cover of an appropriate size be found. For 1 loaf (or ordinary brick) you will need 200 gr. boiled sausage or ham (can be replaced with boiled or smoked chicken breast), 150 gr. cheese, salt and 2 eggs. Tomato, greens, bell pepper are also useful for decoration, and vegetable oil is used to grease the pan.
The loaf is cut into slices of medium thickness, all other ingredients are cut into cubes and mixed, as for a salad. Then the mixture is salted and eggs are driven into it. The middle is removed from the loaf to make a hole about 5 cm in diameter. Then it is fried in a pan greased with oil, on the one hand, turned over and filled the hole with the prepared mixture, reduce the heat, cover and simmer for about 5 minutes. Sprinkle with grated cheese, turn off the heat and close again for a couple of minutes to melt the cheese. Serve with sweet tea or coffee.
