Bend of the gallbladder in children: act or let it drift?

A bend of the gallbladder in children is discovered quite by accident when examining an ultrasound of internal organs. In general, this is a congenital pathology of a clinical nature. What does it mean? Such a physiological state, in principle, is a variant of the norm, but it is believed that this anomaly leads to a violation of the outflow of bile, as a result of which a more serious ailment worsens with the sad diagnosis of biliary dyskinesia. However, it is necessary to clearly understand that the dominant parameter for the fear of such an internal โ€œdefectโ€ is the frequency of contractions of the gallbladder, and when the imbalance of these manipulations dominates, the pathology of the bend of the gallbladder is obvious.

By itself, the bend of the gallbladder in children is asymptomatic in the body and does not reveal itself in any way, complaints arise with a direct violation of the motility of the biliary tract.

However, before talking about diagnosing this pathology, it is necessary to determine what appearance the gall bladder has in its usual state. So, normally it has an oval shape, in addition, it consists of several departments, in particular, from the body, neck and bottom. If we talk about the above-mentioned anomaly of its structure, it should be clarified that the pathological focus is deployed in the area of โ€‹โ€‹movement of the body in the neck of the bladder or in the bottom region, and has its own types and features.

If a bile of the gallbladder is found in a child, it is important to respond in a timely manner to the unpleasant situation for the childโ€™s body, since the neglected form of this pathology brings a lot of pain to the child and experiences to his parents.

Characteristic signs of such structural deformation are abdominal pain, loss of appetite, fever, and complete digestion. In children with a similar diagnosis, bile discharge often prevails, which subsequently provokes vomiting. In addition, the baby becomes extremely irritable, and his usual sleep is significantly disturbed. If all of the above signs are detected, it is necessary to take the child to an ultrasound scan to make a final diagnosis.

If nevertheless the bend of the gallbladder in a child is diagnosed, treatment should be followed immediately. First of all, a special diet is assigned to the child as the leading pediatrician, the task of which is to completely exclude fried, oversaturated with fats, smoked and various concentrates foods from the usual menu, as well as the first meat and fish broths. Also, "taboo" is imposed on the use of sweets and carbonated drinks. Food should be balanced, natural and fortified with a predominance of fruits and vegetables, both fresh and stewed. The recommended daily diet, consisting of four meals, is necessary in order to improve the outflow of bile.

What about medicines? There are some nuances here, since the administration of choleretic drugs is appropriate only when the ultrasound indices have not revealed the predominance of stones and sand. There are such clinical pictures when the bend of the gallbladder in children can be imperceptibly eliminated due to the intensive growth of organs and the growth of the body, but this is not always the case. However, you should not despair, since such a disease does not imply a fatal outcome, and the patient can live a full life, exclusively adhering to a therapeutic diet.

According to medical practice, the bend of the gallbladder in children changes over time, and takes a more acceptable form with age, but do not forget that such deformation can provoke bile stasis and metabolic disturbances, as a result of which stones can form, which is extremely undesirable for children organism.
