In this case, it does not mean reading your favorite poems, but writing your own. I would like to start the article about Amiram Grigorov precisely with these lines, because there is something in the eyes of this man that cannot be hidden behind a smile, that allows us to think of him as a lonely traveler wandering the earth in search of the lost.
Amiram Grigorov: biography, the formation of personality
In the city of Baku, in a huge family, where several different cultures and nationalities were mixed (Jews, Caucasians, and before them were Iranians in their family), on March 24, 1969, a boy named Amiram was born. Grigorov recalls that he grew up in the so-called "ghetto" - an area in which Jews lived. But they were very different in temperament and character: some were representatives of the cultural elite, while others were warlike highlanders hiding daggers behind their backs. Often there were fights not only between children, but also adults tried to share something.
Amiram Grigorov studied at Baku School No. 1 named after N. Akhundova, which he graduated in 1986. The family of a young man has always been inclined to move to a permanent place of residence in the United States. The first and perhaps the only step towards the realization of this dream was the move to Moscow in 1993. It was supposed to draw up documents there and set off to seek a better life in America. By the way, many close relatives of the family of Amiram Grigorov did just that.
Education and work
While the process of filling out the necessary documentation for the family to go abroad was started, the young man did not waste time in vain. He entered the University of Russian State Medical University. Pirogov at the Faculty of Biology, after which he received a diploma in Biophysics. Then, for some reason, Amiram Grigorov was attracted to the side completely opposite to medicine - literature and poetry. He entered the Literary Institute. Gorky in Moscow and listened to the seminar of S. Arutyunov in the direction of poetry.
The entire process of training Grigorov took place in full-time, considering the distance learning for himself unacceptable. To ensure that life in a foreign city was at a decent level, Amiram Grigorov, whose photos are presented in today's material, worked on two works:
- Head of the Department of Human Physiology at the Biological Museum of Moscow.
- Lecturer in Biophysics at the Medical Academy.
It is worth saying that neither Grigorov himself, nor his family have ever gone abroad. Now Amiram Grigorov works as a teacher at MGMU. Sechenov. His path is physics, biophysics and mathematics. Firstly, speaking about the poetry of Amiram Grigorov, it is worth noting that he writes in a peculiar way. His creations are a cross between the “white” verse and the four-line iambic. Many of them feel overt sorrow, and sometimes even some bitterness. "Father", "Steam by the Water", "Goodbye, Moscow" and many other works are saturated with longing. Many critics did not fully appreciate the creative steps of the biophysicist, but noted that he undoubtedly has potential.
