Thanks to the numerous marinades, sauces and spices, you can diversify the preparation of this product, delighting consumers every time with something new. And no matter, bake the whole chicken in the oven or in slices, the result is equally tasty. It is not even necessary to mention the aesthetic side of such a dish. Chicken with Lemon Marinade
Chicken, baked in the oven as a whole, under the marinade of lemon, herbs and spices - this is one of the traditional cooking options. To do this, take one bird carcass, lemon, or rather its juice, a small spoonful of salt, half a spoonful of pepper (ground black) and rosemary and olive oil. We prepare the chicken and be sure to dry it with a towel. Then mix all the ingredients for the marinade. We rub the chicken with the mixture on all sides and leave it for one hour without sending it to the refrigerator. If the pickling time is longer, then the chicken should be put in a cool place. Then again, dry the carcass with a towel, put on a baking sheet and put in a preheated oven. Bake the whole chicken in the oven for about an hour. Cooking time depends on size.
Garlic and Lemon Chicken
Garlic gives any dish a delicious aroma, which is why it is often used in cooking. We take one chicken (about 2 kilograms), several tablespoons of olive oil, one lemon, about 10 cloves of garlic, several sprigs of fresh rosemary and spices. We start with the preparatory work. Peel the garlic and crush it in a mortar (or chop it in another way). Then very carefully chop the rosemary. Mix these two ingredients and add lemon zest to them. We squeeze out lemon juice there. Salt, pepper to taste and pour two tablespoons of olive oil. Mix all the ingredients and grease the chicken with this mixture. Spread it on a baking sheet. If it is not non-stick, then grease it with any fat. Around you can lay whole potatoes of small size. Bake the whole chicken in the oven for 40 minutes. The temperature should be 180 degrees. When the chicken is ready, it must be taken to a dish and left for 15 minutes. The meat should rest and absorb all the juices. Then we serve it to the table.
Bake in the sleeveThe chicken baked in the bag is very juicy. For cooking in this way, you can choose any recipe. For marinade, you can take a combination of soy sauce, garlic, lemon or lime juice and pepper. With a mixture of these ingredients, we rub the carcass. We use any vegetables and fruits that can perfectly complement this meat as minced meat. We lay the bird in a special sleeve and close the edges with clamps. Bake the whole chicken in the oven in the traditional way. Cooking time is approximately 40 minutes. Remember to pierce the bag in several places from above to allow air to escape. A few minutes before graduation, you can cut the sleeve and let the chicken brown.
