In Voronezh, as in any city in our country, there is a place for cultural leisure. Today we will tell you about the House of the Actor in Voronezh, the history of its creation and introduce you to the poster.
Actor's House
The history of this theater begins in 1978. This year, on April 28, the Actor’s House in Voronezh opened the doors to the first spectators. His building was built according to the project, the author of which was V.A. Bykhovsky.
Now is the day Actor’s House in Voronezh is not just a theater, it is a multifunctional building, in which cultural activity is boiling. In the theater there are:
- the main auditorium, accommodating at least 340 people,
- a small mantelpiece for a modest company,
- Exhibition Hall
- small conference room
- library,
- cafeteria.
Due to such a number of diverse premises, the Actor's House can hold several different events at the same time. Since 2011, the theater bears the name of Lyudmila Kravtsova. For fifteen years, the People’s Artist of Russia was the Chairman of the Board of the Voronezh STD of the Russian Federation.

The creative center "Entreprise" has the following performances in its repertoire:
- comedies in two acts - “Seraphimino happiness”, “School of temptation”, “While she was dying”, “Fate in a suitcase”, “Quadrille”.
- plays in two acts - “The Eldest Son” and “My Grandson Veniamin”.
- family detective in two acts - "Little family crimes."
- tragicomedy in two acts - “Passion for Torchalov”.
The repertoire of the creative center "Theater Neformat" consists of the performances:
- "Step forward";
- Hotel of Broken Hearts;
- "The love of the king";
- "Heart in your pocket";
- "Dealer";
- "Where was the table of dishes" and others.
The creative center was created recently, in February 2014, by the forces of Anton Timofeev and young, proactive, talented actors. The goal of the center is to give young actors and directors the opportunity to prove themselves not only in the classical performances of the city’s repertoire, but also to show a combination of different genres in one production. Absolutely any creative group can declare itself and its creative experiment, regardless of the main activity, gender and age. "Theater Neformat" is an excellent reason not to be afraid and begin to develop your theatrical skills.
Library "House of Actor" in Voronezh
More than 28,000 publications - today the library has such a fund. Even in the pre-war era, literally bit by bit, donated books and publications collected from cultural figures of different times were collected. The first years the library did work on a voluntary basis, but already in 1947 a secretary-librarian appeared. The first room for the library was the
Drama Theater, after which she moved to the Opera and Ballet Theater. But as soon as the Actor’s House was completed, the library was specially allocated a separate room in which it is currently located.
The library has a reading room and provides its services not only to theater workers, but also to students, schoolchildren, as well as all those who are partial to theatrical art.
