Bogdan Stupka was born in late August 1944 in a musical family: father, mother and uncle of the future actor held various positions in the opera house. We can say that Bogdan got used to the theatrical atmosphere from an early age. Only now with the future profession was not immediately determined.
After school, Stupka tried to enter the Polytechnic Institute, but nothing came of it. Then the young man visited as an apprentice at a locksmith, worked in an astronomical laboratory and in a jazz ensemble.
Bogdan Stupka, whose filmography began to replenish with paintings only in the 70s, managed to graduate from the acting school at the Lviv Theater and enter his main troupe.
The debut on the screen took place in the film “Peace to the huts - war to the palaces”. Bogdan Stupka died in the summer of 2012 in a Kiev hospital. In fact, he died of acute heart failure, but before that, for two years, the actor had to fight a cancerous tumor.
