Tyuria is a kind of cold soup cooked quickly and without the help of a stove. From ancient times, the dish was considered the food of the poor, and therefore could not take root in gourmet establishments - restaurants and cafes. So turkey is a truly peasant home-made dish, besides it is also very cheap and easy to prepare.
Main ingredients
For cooking you will need:
- Bread (rye or wheat) - always fresh, preferably without a crust or slightly dried in the oven crackers.
- Kvass is better than light, sour and unsweetened, it can be replaced with tomato juice, sour milk and even cold drinking or mineral water.
Additional ingredients
- Onion (bulb or feather).
- Radish.
- Cucumbers in any form (fresh, canned, salted).
- Greens parsley, dill, cilantro.
- Garlic.
- Horseradish.
- Vodka.
- Sour cream.
The list is far from complete, as additives you can use whatever your heart desires: boiled cold meat, ham, boiled eggs, sausage and sausages.
So today we will have a prison on the table. The recipe is old and simple, it does not require special skills.
Tyuria Classical
To prepare it, we need (for 2 servings):
- Kvass - 1.5 cups.
- Fresh rye bread - 4 slices.
- Green onion -1 small bunch.
- Garlic -1 clove (optional).
- Sunflower oil - 1 tablespoon.
- Salt is to your liking.
- Ground black pepper - 1 pinch.
Peel the bread and lightly dry it in the oven or in a pan.
Garlic lovers at this stage are advised to grate slices of garlic clove. Next, the cooled bread should be cut into medium-sized cubes.
Green onions in the meantime need to be washed, cleaned if necessary. We will use only the lower part of it, which must be finely chopped and grated with salt, seasoned with vegetable oil and a pinch of black ground pepper.
Then you need to prepare two deep plates, it is better to use ceramic to penetrate the atmosphere of old Russia. At the bottom of our plates we evenly distribute bread and onions, fill all this aromatic contents with cold kvass and immediately proceed to the tasting.
Remember that turkey is a dish that cannot be stored, so you need to use it immediately after cooking. As you can see, nothing complicated, and the result, believe me, will be magnificent.
With the preparation of the classic turi, we figured out, why not now try to cook something more interesting, modern and sharper?
