Mimosa roll is one of the favorite treats on the festive table. There are a large number of different recipes, consider the most interesting. Let's start with the classic.
Classic Mimosa roll recipe
To prepare the dish, you need to prepare the following ingredients:
- 3 sheets of Armenian pita bread;
- 3 pcs. chicken eggs;
- 1 can of saury;
- 150 g of cheese "Russian";
- to taste greens;
- 250 ml of olive mayonnaise (you can also have another).
We proceed to the preparation of Mimosa salad in pita bread. We begin the preparatory phase: boil the eggs, then rub on a coarse grater, and we also rub hard cheese. Finely chop the greens. We take saury and remove excess fluid, the ridge.
Lay out carefully a sheet of pita bread. Apply a thin layer of mayonnaise on top. Mix all the prepared ingredients and sprinkle them with pita bread. It is important not to overdo it with the amount of filling. Turn the pita bread into a roll. We spread the second sheet of pita bread, grease it with mayonnaise and sprinkle with the filling, put the first roll in the beginning, roll both rolls together. We also do the third sheet.
The resulting roll must be wrapped with cling film and put in the refrigerator for impregnation for at least 10 hours (preferably at night). Before serving, it is advisable to cut the roll into slices 5-6 cm wide.
Mimosa roll with potatoes
There are a large number of other recipes for Mimosa. Consider the option with potatoes. Ingredients for Mimosa salad with potatoes:
- Armenian lavash;
- 5-6 Art. l mayonnaise;
- 1 can of sardines in oil;
- 1 bunch of green onions or parsley;
- 3 pcs. boiled potatoes;
- 1 medium-sized boiled carrot;
- 3 pcs. boiled eggs.
Getting to the cooking process. First of all, we separate the fish fillet from the seeds. Then, using a fork, we knead to obtain a homogeneous mass. Add mayonnaise and mix thoroughly. We smear the pita with the resulting mixture, it is advisable not to touch the lateral edges.
Next, you need to grate the potatoes on a coarse grater and sprinkle them with pita bread on top of the layer with fish. We also make such a maneuver with carrots, however, before sprinkling lavash with carrots, you need to mix it with a small amount of mayonnaise. Spread a layer of carrots on pita bread. On top lay a layer of grated eggs and green onions.
We wrap the pita bread with the filling in the roll, after bending the edges. Wrapped roll is wrapped in cling film, and then placed in the refrigerator for about an hour. The dish is ready to serve.
Roulade with fish and rice
The following ingredients will be required for cooking:
- 200 g canned fish;
- 100 g of boiled rice;
- 4 things. chicken eggs;
- onions and chives;
- 200 g of carrots;
- 150 g of hard cheese;
- 200 ml of olive mayonnaise.
The eggs should be finely chopped, the cheese should be grated, and carrots should also be grated. Remove canned fish from the can, remove excess fat and bone. Also chop the greens. Rice should first be boiled, and then cool. We mix all the ingredients.
We spread the pita bread, spread it with mayonnaise in a thin layer. We spread all the ingredients on top of the pita bread, wrap it in a roll. In order for the roll to not unfold, the edges should be folded. The finished roll is wrapped in cling film, left in the refrigerator for 60 minutes. Mimosa roll is ready to serve!
Korean carrot roll with kefir sauce
To prepare the dish you will need the following ingredients:
- 1 sheet of thin pita bread;
- 200 g of hard cheese;
- 1-2 cloves of garlic;
- 2 carrots;
- 100 ml of kefir;
- 1 tbsp. l olive oil;
- 4 tbsp. l mayonnaise;
- 1 tsp seasonings for Korean carrots.
Mimosa roll is a fairly simple dish, cooking will take only 30 minutes. Rub the carrots on a medium grater. Grind the garlic, mix with oil and spices. Add the finished dressing to carrots, mix thoroughly. Give a little insist that the carrots are saturated with all the seasonings. Also rub on a coarse grater cheese. Mix the crushed garlic with mayonnaise and kefir.
We spread pita bread, grease with kefir sauce. Spread carrots on top and sprinkle with cheese. We wrap pita bread in a roll, leave for 15 minutes, so that the filling can soak. Then cut the roll into small slices. The dish is ready!
It is important to remember that without packaging, the dish can become weathery, therefore you need to store roll in the refrigerator in cling film. The shelf life of the finished product is 2-3 days. Served as a solo dish or as a snack in front of the main course.
