Everyone heard the word “disinfection”, but it’s quite difficult to clearly convey its meaning to a person who has not encountered this process. Disinfection is not ordinary cleaning, it is the disposal of the room, furniture and other household items from viruses and pathogens. Most often, such cleaning is carried out as current, that is, carried out in order to prevent the dispersion of microorganisms. - devices for various purposes used in contact with patients;
- cleaning equipment and patient care items.
Designed for use in hospitals, kindergartens and schools, at public facilities and at public catering facilities.
The tool is effective in combating infections of viral and bacterial origin (even with tuberculosis).
According to the instructions for use, in medicine "Sulfochlorantin D" is recommended as a fight against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Effective against mycobacterium tuberculosis and creeps of the genus dermatophytes and candida.
In the preschool educational institution it is recommended to carry out general cleaning at least once every 30 days with the use of disinfectants. Instructions for the use of "Sulfochlorantin D" in the DOW states that the following are to be processed:
- toilet rooms;
- door handles and drain tanks;
- toilet seats, pots;
- cleaning equipment.
Composition and toxicity
In the instructions for use of "Sulfochlorantin D" the following composition of the agent is indicated:
- 1,3-dichloro 5.5 dichlorantin;
- other functional detergents.
Active chlorine in the product does not exceed 14-16%.
By the level of toxicity, the drug is assigned to class 3, if it is an introduction to the digestive tract. The product is low-hazard and is assigned to class 4 if it gets on the skin. In this case, it causes only slight irritation. If it enters the body through the upper respiratory tract, it causes irritation.
How to use
The instructions for use "Sulfochlorantin D" indicates that this water-soluble powder is diluted per 1 liter - 25 g.

After disinfection of the room and furniture, wet cleaning is carried out and the room is ventilated. If the dishes were processed, they must be washed with running water and left to ventilate until the smell of chlorine completely disappears. By the same principle, instruments and other medical items are processed. If we are talking about linen, then it is soaked in a solution, then washed and dried.
Terms and conditions of storage
The instructions for use of Sulfochlorantin D indicate that the total shelf life of the dry powder is 3 years from the date of production. If the solution is diluted, then it can be stored for no more than 14 days.
