The film’s story is based on the life of policeman Ben Carson, who killed his colleague. The accident led to the dismissal of a man. Soon after, he became addicted to alcohol, became aggressive and quick-tempered. Ben leaves his wife with children, he remains alone.

Having decided to start all over again, he gets a job as a watchman of an abandoned department store building. Once upon a time, this building personified luxury. A huge number of people visited the department store, but after the fire it turned into ruins. In the past, there was a psychiatric hospital on the site of the burned store. During a night tour, Ben Carson notices a distinctive feature of the mirrors. In the dirty and dilapidated setting of the department store, they were clean. The watchman sees terrible things in the reflection of the mirrors. The torment of burned visitors is replaced by other terrifying paintings.

The sister of the protagonist persuades him to quit. For this, the mirrors kill her. Ben begins to wonder about the cause of death of his predecessor.
