Varicose veins of the rectum are referred to in medicine by the term "hemorrhoids." The stages of the disease succeed each other, and this can occur imperceptibly for the patient. The enlargement of the cavernous vessels often proceeds without any special symptoms, and typical manifestations of the disease occur with the so-called risk factors - weight lifting, physical exertion, during childbirth (of course, this applies to women). All this can provoke hemorrhoids. Stages (there are four in total) are characterized by a whole set of features.
Internal hemorrhoids
Hemorrhoidal nodes are slightly enlarged. They can be seen in the lumen of the rectum with the help of special devices, but the signs of the disease are minimal. These include mild discomfort during bowel movements, bloating, periodic pain. Since similar symptoms occur with other ailments, it is difficult for a person to guess that he has hemorrhoids. The initial stage (the photo can be viewed in any medical guide) is also characterized by single bleeding from the anus. If you managed to βcatchβ the disease at an early stage, getting rid of it will be quite simple - with the help of sclerotherapy. The procedure takes only a couple of minutes, is easily tolerated and does not cause the slightest discomfort: in just a week you will forget about what hemorrhoids are.
Stage 2 and 3
If you start the disease, over time, the discomfort will only intensify: itching and burning in the anus increase every day. The same applies to bleeding: they are no longer associated with bowel movements and can begin with weight lifting, increased blood pressure. During the visit to the restroom, hemorrhoidal nodes may fall out, so some patients at this stage have so-called psychogenic constipation. This leads to the progression of hemorrhoids. The patient can be helped in time by infrared coagulation, ligation with latex rings, as well as the operation of deserterization. The first two procedures are done by the course, and surgical intervention is performed under local anesthesia and lasts about half an hour. It should be noted that treatment is the more painless the earlier it is possible to detect hemorrhoids. Stage 3 and 4 are very difficult. To solve the problem at these stages, you have to spend a lot of time and money. Nodes fall out involuntarily and are not pulled back. Pain torments a person constantly, itching in the anus prevents the usual way of life. Only surgery can help - excision of nodes or flashing of supply vessels. Otherwise, serious complications are possible.

Acute hemorrhoids
At the last, fourth, stage, the nodes are not repaired, the anus gapes, the rectal mucosa is clearly visible. The sphincter tone decreases to such an extent that the stool departs involuntarily, the surrounding tissues are irritated, covered with numerous erosions. Unfortunately, many patients go to the doctor only when hemorrhoids are fully started. Stages, treatment - all this is not so important, only emergency surgery can help here.
