Hypertension of 2 degrees (secondary). The main symptoms, stages and exercise therapy

Hypertension is a serious disease that results from a violation of the complex mechanism of interaction of water-salt metabolism, endocrine and nervous systems. The main symptoms are: increased blood pressure and lesions in the cardiovascular system.

This disease has a wavy and growing character. A difficult period, when high blood pressure predominates, can be abruptly replaced by its normalization and the presence of a satisfactory condition. But, in any case, if the first, rare signs appear, then you can be sure that in the absence of treatment, hypertension of the 2nd degree, or secondary, will soon develop. This usually happens if the following causes continue to affect the body:

  • neuropsychic overstrain;
  • the presence of negative emotions;
  • mental trauma;
  • menopause development;
  • intracranial injury;
  • the presence of adverse heredity, stroke;
  • the development of obesity, diabetes, coronary heart disease and kidney disease.

There are several classifications of this disease. The first is divided into hypertension with damage to the kidneys, blood vessels in the brain or heart. But, an option is possible when everything is present in the complex.

The second classification takes into account the wave-like nature of this disease, highlighting 3 degrees of hypertension.

In the presence of 1 degree there are minor violations of the functions, the pressure rises periodically to the level of 180-105 mm RT. Art., which is accompanied by sleep disturbances, noise in the head and the presence of a headache.

Hypertension 2 degrees. The level of blood pressure rises to 200-115 mm RT. Art. In addition to the above symptoms, staggering when walking and frequent chest pains also appear. The development of organic changes also begins (the left ventricle of the heart increases, the vessels of the retina of the fundus are narrowed ). Therefore, secondary hypertension is the beginning of irreversible effects in the body.

3 degree of hypertension is characterized by the fact that the pressure becomes 230-130 mm RT. Art. At this stage, the wave-like nature of the disease passes, and a high level of blood pressure is kept pretty stable. By this time, in addition to the above, a number of new organic changes appear. We are talking about arteriosclerosis of the arteries, degenerative changes in the internal organs, insufficient blood circulation, angina pectoris, renal failure, myocardial infarction, hemorrhage not only in the retina, but also in the brain.

Hypertension of degrees 2 and 3 is characterized by the presence of hypertensive crises, in the event of which it is urgent to call an emergency doctor.

In addition to drug treatment and adherence to diet, therapists recommend systematic exercise therapy.

The first degree of this disease β€œrequires” that the patient walk as much as possible. In some stable cases, jogging is also recommended.

Hypertension of the 2nd degree allows you to do exercises, standing or sitting. We are talking about general developmental, breathing exercises, as well as a balanced complex for muscle relaxation. Mandatory is walking, but in small doses at a slow pace. Gradually increase the marathon to 7 km.

In the third degree of hypertension, only after undergoing a hypertensive crisis, it is allowed to do exercises from the initial lying position, and the head should be raised high. In the event that there is an improvement, the therapist is also allowed to conduct classes in a sitting position. It is useful to develop the joints of the legs and arms, combining with in-depth breathing. The pace should be very slow and with stops.

In general, a disease such as hypertension is easier to prevent than cure.
