What indicates increased soy in the patient’s blood

A complete blood count consists of several indicators. One of them is ESR, showing how quickly red blood cells separate from plasma and settle in vitro. Depending on the sedimentation rate, the doctor can identify whether the patient has any disease, and also determine the intensity of its development.

The norm of ESR is 2-10 mm / hour for men and 3-15 mm / hour for women. Since the density of red blood cells exceeds the density of the plasma, they settle to the bottom of the tube. It is believed that the higher the bonding rate of red blood cells with each other, the higher the percentage of acute phase protein in the plasma.

The reasons for which increased soy in the blood is detected can be represented by the following indicators:

- a decrease in blood albumin ;

- an increase in the volume of alkali in the blood;

- a decrease in the density of red blood cells;

If, on the contrary, the examination revealed that the ESR is below normal, we can talk about such deviations as:

- an increase in albumin;

- a decrease in the volume of alkali in the blood;

- blood viscosity exceeding the norm;

- a change in shape and an increase in the number of red blood cells.

If during the study revealed elevated soy in the blood, this may indicate the development of diseases such as inflammation of the respiratory system, acute poisoning, heart disease and even malignant tumors. If the cancer progresses, the soybean indicator grows quite quickly and becomes equal to 60 mm / hour or more.

High soy in the blood should not scare after surgery and during pregnancy.

It is worth noting that the indicators of the normal level of soy in the blood depend on the age of the patient. Therefore, do not compare the blood test of an adult and a child.

In order to take a blood test and get reliable information about the composition of the blood and whether or not the patient has high soy in the blood, you need to prepare. A blood test is taken in the morning, you can’t have breakfast before taking blood, moreover, at least 8 hours should pass after the last meal, because the changes reflected in the test results indicate the state of the body as a whole.

Many mothers who have received the results of a blood test of their baby are concerned about the question: is the erythrocyte sedimentation rate normal ? Consider in which cases it is worth worrying about the health of the child, and in which ESR is normal.

Soya in blood in children of the age category from 1 month to six months should be in the range from 2 to 6 mm / hour, moreover, an increase in this norm goes along with the growing up of the baby. Further, until the child reaches 1 year, the norm of the indicator ranges from 4 to 7 mm / hour. Gradually, this figure increases, in accordance with the growing up of the child, and by the age of 8 years and up to 16, the level of soy in the blood can be 8-12 mm / hour.

In the event that your child has high soy in the blood, starting with 10 units above the norm, you need to see a doctor, because this level of speed indicates the development of the disease. If the ESR index is increased by 40 units or more, you need to sound the alarm, because such a figure indicates that the child is seriously ill, and the inflammatory process can threaten his life.

Of course, it is not worth it, both for an adult and a child, to fanatically take blood tests and weekly monitor all the indicators in the results, especially if you feel fine.

First of all, listen to yourself, to your body. And only if you have doubts, hand over analyzes. It is the doctor who must find out the reasons for the increase or decrease in the soybean blood indicator and prescribe timely treatment. Do not make such decisions to get rid of the disease on your own, because after the diagnosis is made, having passed the course of treatment, you will be able to permanently get rid of the fear associated with a threat to your health.
